Different teams match-up better than others. Boise St and TCU are closer than most people (including myself) thought. Boise St's gameplan was executed better than TCU's. Very heart-breaking trip back to Texas for me. Phoenix was great, but very disappointing trip in the end.
TCU ran the ball only 10 times. That was not the offensive scheme TCU ran all year. Not sure why they decided to become a passing team in the biggest game of their life. Andy Dalton reverted back to his RS Freshman version of himself. Maybe they did choke. Who knows? That was not the same team I saw all year long.
So, last year they choked and missed going to a BCS Bowl. This year they went undefeated and choked in the BCS Bowl. Maybe, next year is when they put it all together and win it.

That's what was so frustrating to everyone at the game. It wasn't like BSU was doing that much different from last year. I was in the upper level of the stadium and could see plays developing. There were so many missed opportunities if Dalton would have thrown better passes. But, like I said before - I have no idea why they didn't run more. The coaches should have realized that.
