These NFL REFS are BRUTAL Today!!!!!!

It is the same every week. Philly game was a complete mess and they just made an atrocious pass interference call in the Saints game to give them a TD. Just sad for me to see how bad it has become over the years. And even worse that they never make them accountable for screwing up obvious calls. They are too arrogant to make the real changes that need to be made. As long as money is being printed the NFL simply does not care about the quality of play. Basically the reason I do not watch nearly as much as I used to, but then again, men over 50 are no longer their core target audience.
As an aside, 4 referees retired before the start of this season. That is significant. Most were sick of it and are now making more money working TV than they did as a ref. The refs get a ton of blame (and they deserve most of it), but direction comes from the NFL on how they want the games to be officiated. Something you do not hear about much in public but it is always has been an issue with the referees and the NFL. Make no doubt about it, the NFL controls every aspect of the game. So when you blame the officials, don't forget to also blame the NFL which really has created the whole mess.
