Havent seen confirmation yet but hearing Mr. Bomar got himself arrested for possession of alcohol as a minor. Probably sealed him getting the starting job. But since it is a misdeameanor it isnt enough to be named a team captain.

Not arrested, but cited for having a beer at a guys house after the game. He is 20 years old and for anyone to say they didn't do the same thing is BS.

Man a 20 year old in college was drinking a beer at some guys house???? Bomar is a disgrace I can't believe he would do something like that.
It's not the beer drinking that would bother me. However, the kid can't be too bright to get arrested for drinking beer at someone's house. Either there was alot of commotion going on, which should have made him know that he could get in trouble, or he didn't recognize the bad situation in time. Duh!
He should not be in trouble at all, drinking that watered down beer oklahoma has. Thats probably why the longhorns haven't been able to beat the sooners, we have the real stuff here in texas.
