Went over today's card yesterday cause the sun should be shinning on good ole Philly today. IF THEY DON'T CANCEL, I do like the 2nd race today....

Top two rated horses are the 1 and 7 (both are rated real close like and neither is the fav. although it wouldn't surprise me if the no. 1/1A gets bet down a bit.)

MY plick? I really like the no. 5's chances, San Cristo, with a M.L. of 6/1 and I'll be doing quite a bit of wheeling and dealing with zacks AND trifectas with this one. This one was rated RIGHT BEHIND the two above. Side action will be to WIN, only on two of these .... 1,7,8; gotta see them to drop one of them. BTW, you/me do get two good ones with the no. 1 entry, provided one doesn't sqwatch. The other side of the coin is that the nos. 7,8, BOTH will be much better odds.

Tennis anyone? ... er, no?
Well, it's gonna be De Joka or my main man (used to wear a red shirt) that I believe will hold the Aussie trophy AGAIN. :)
No pick for the ladies cause it's just impossible to come up with one.

Good luck.

Thanks, Hammy

Thanks, Hammy

I absolutely LUVED that no. 5 hoss in the 2nd race and was ready to spread at least a hundred not-so-stinkin bucks around that one. I capped two races for today, and the other one was the 3rd and I think I woulda stopped after the 2nd race win or lose and not bother with the 3rd cause I surely woulda WON enough or lost enough for the WEEK after the 2nd wace.

Are these northeastern twacks, and mid America tracks, I guess, making money in the winter? Parx had the time and the weather conditions to get the track ready to run today. They left their loyal (only the LOYALIST of wacin fans hit the track this time of the year) fans in the dark until hours before post time to give them the lame excuse as to why they cancelled today. They couldn't tell them WELL AHEAD OF TIME that they had no intention of running today cause more snow is on the way a day or so away and it just wasn't worth it to patch up the track for today and maybe tomorrow's races before the snow starts falling again. I'm sure the casino doors were wide open today though.

Sad to realize that horse racing survived and even thrived without OTBs and casinos at one time.

Time for a better topic... like... Goooo getem and givem hell, RAFA. :)
