The pitching form I'm looking at, has Harrison at a very healthy 7-1 lifetime against Seattle.
But it also has him as 4-0 1.98 This Season against Seattle.

besides josh hamilton being out tonight,

The Rangers will also miss reliever Alexi Ogando, who has a bruised right hand. He was hit on the hand in the eighth inning of Sunday's victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ogando did some throwing Monday afternoon.

"It's good, pretty good," Ogando said after a pitchers meeting. "Only one day off."

Ogando said he iced his hand to help with any potential swelling.

Little more than meets the eye in this one. First Hamilton is out. Maybe more importantly Millwood is working on a 17 inning scoreless streak.

In addition to that he has faced Texas twice this season, both six innings complete. In the first one he yielded four hits and one run. Last week he yielded three hits and no runs.

Wedge playing percentages with today?s lineup

Interesting lineup today for the Mariners against the Rangers, with John Jaso leading off and Chone Figgins batting second and playing left field, while Dustin Ackley and Mike Carp have the day off.

Why? It appears manager Eric Wedge is playing the percentages, with Ackley 0-for-15 in his career against Rangers starter Matt Harrison and Carp 0-for-10.

Figgins is 4-for-14, while Alexi Liddi is 3-for-6. All of which is limited sample size and all that, but we?ll see what Wedge has to say when we talk with him before the game.

Ackley also sat out Friday?s game, so maybe something is up with him. We?ll see if Wedge sheds light. With Ackley out, this will be Jaso?s second time batting leadoff this year. He went 1-for-4 in his first shot with an RBI. The catcher hit leadoff for Tampa Bay in 51 games during his time there and has a career .262 batting average and .358 on-base percentage in that slot.

Here?s today?s full lineup:

John Jaso DH
Chone Figgins LF
Ichiro Suzuki RF
Jesus Montero C
Justin Smoak 1B
Kyle Seager 2B
Alex Liddi 3B
Michael Saunders CF
Brendan Ryan SS

Kevin Millwood RHP

Harrison (5-3, 4.72): The left-hander has failed to find consistency the last six starts. He's got an ERA of 6.68 and a 2-3 mark in those games. In the first inning of games, opponents are hitting .306 off Harrison and he has an ERA of 7.00. Harrison said he has to get his sinker down in the strike zone at the start of games and challenge hitters to gain success.

He's working on five days' rest due to last week's day off. Left-handed batters are hitting just .148 against Harrison.
