I accidentally said "Thank you" last week. Of course, the robot teenager gave the obligatory and patronizing, "my pleasure" in return. :moon:

I can just picture this lady talking to her manager after this incident

"sure, that man was mean and I didn't like him filming me, but there's this one customer who just grabs the bag out of my hand and speeds away"

it was especially enjoyable when the guy was lecturing her regarding how she could work for a company with such horrible values....

looks like the m.f.`er should have spent a little time familiarizing himself with his OWN company`s values....

I ask a question now. Something simple like, "how are you?" or possibly, "sure is hot today!". Anything but thank you. :sadwave:

Karma indeed, but damn if I lost my CAREER and livelihood over something so small I would be seriously upset.

Everyone needs to calm down on both sides of this. It's beyond ridiculous.

So the robot teenage employee doesn't have the opportunity to respond with, "my pleasure".

That bother's you? I say that all the time. I held the door for an elderly couple the other day, they emphatically thanked me and I responded with "My pleasure" and it was a pleasure to do. Especially after receiving such a warm and gracious thank you.

Just sayiing. :00hour

Do you make catty comments while watching sex and the city on TV?

Sounds like it.

imf, this guy was corporate(apparently some sort of low level officer in the company with people working for him).....lots of these corporations have social media policies (facebook etc) stating that if you do somethuing that may cause problems for the company, you can be terminated.....

and based on the expediency with which this company acted,i`m guessing that this wasn`t this first item in this guy`s personnel jacket.....

lawsuit to follow......
