The top 10 freakin' threads are flat out bullshit from TCAS, Hedgehog and Raymond. Do any of pinheads realize that you are missing opportunities to legitimately rail on Obama? Mistakes are made by all leaders, and I happen to disagree with a variety of Obama's actions from passing control of 2010 census to the White House, to overuse of "czars", to repeatedly talking out of both sides of his mouth on a variety of topics, to fear-mongering, to following W's lead in terms of bailouts, to pushing through a pork-filled stimulus plan. The list goes on and on.

BTW, I am not alone. In fact, no doubt exists in my mind that Hillary would be President of the US if another election were held this year.

Anyway, adios fellas. I've found a 'new' political forum and am done here. I am likely the most conservative poster there, but I read interesting posts and learn something new daily, as I used to here from Smurphy, Chadman, IMFekhr, Weasel, DTB and many more intelligent members of this forum. See ya'll in the football forums.

Cheers..... Cie:weed:

Very sorry to see you go, if so, Cie. I think in many cases we feel the same way on issues, I think we both are more centrist than farther out. I do value your posts and opinions, but I do agree things have essentially gone to shit here. And that's a bad thing.

Good luck in football. I think I may spend more time there, too.

Thanks for the wave, Hedge. Another great comment from you. The sad thing is, I don't think some here would care one way or the other if there were nothing BUT all those stupid one liner posts and links to goofball videos. And so it goes...

Cie Grant is not off the right wing. That doesn't mean he's not conservative. I think he's views are pretty close to mine actually. Quality poster for sure.

Chad, if one line posts and stupid videos bother you, why not ignore them, I'm just that kind of poster, i've always thought Youtube type videos do a better job of exposing the TRUTH, people in their own words, plus i'm a slow typer.

This is a big loss for the forum - Like 6'5 I find Cie's thoughts alot like mine. His "ain't right meter" is spot on. I've read things that, fundamentally, I disagree with but the guy is without party, and speaks his own thoughts.

If I ever get the opportunity Cie, I'd love to buy you a beer.

Let the bad apple analogies roll

Often times the most interesting political stuff is local. The things going on in the actual communities we live in. National stuff is so distant and impossible to change by the individual.

Bank bailouts, wars, health care... man that is heavy stuff. Honestly I get more passionate about a local law to change parking fees by 15% or a new bike lane on a crowded street or a transit proposal... these things can be mercurial at times, but they generally effect our quality of life as much as the "big stuff" obama or congress does.

I'd like to hear more about that stuff in this forum. Even if the topics would only apply to the poster of a particular topic.

Just a thought.

Sorry to hear you have given up, though I understand why.

i like cie and enjoy his participation enormously.....i consider him an internet friend.....but i wonder why he singles out only the anti-obama posters as the ones that he considers so abhorrent that he can no longer endure the political forum?...

i guess cie was absent during all the years of blatant bush bashing and name calling in the forum...

he finds anti-obama commentary untenable, yet stw posting ghoulish troop death counts on a regular basis and spongy, jabber, trampled and some others who are almost as brutal(cunt comments regarding palin and equally offensive crap about her children) totally acceptable?....

theres an obvious double standard at play in this forum...and even many pseudo-conservative posters buy into it...

last time i checked nobody`s comments are on any mandatory reading list...

Stevie D...Why Hillary !!

Stevie D...Why Hillary !!

Too bad he is leaving. I would like to know how he came to this conclusion.

I presume that he remembers the Clinton years in the 90's . I will never brag on Clinton or any other political leader that's been around for 50 years... they have an agenda that has brought this country to the brink !!
I will go as far to say that cie doesn't like the stench that is coming from the Obama camp... it has a bad smell and too many liars that are stinking the place up, now i'm a thinking that cie likes a little perfume to cover up the stench that big O is releasing.... JMO !
