"We've all heard about the Bush family and the Bin Laden family. Looks like George and Laura have some cocktail buddies in Dubai also."

Yep Edward we listen to your Micheal Moore perspective on Saudi's UBL and Bush--in presenting this "opinion" to your minions--

Facts are quite diff--
UBL is fighting against U.S. and Saudi
U.S. and Saudi's are fighting against UBL
Liberals want attorneys for terrorist--liberal attorney defends Saddam-Liberal media--disses military with 45 days of front page coverage.
Kinda really makes you wonder who the allies and enemy are?

some news from today that should make those against terror smile--however I am sure some will not be so happy as it destroys their "opinions"

try an spin this to the lemmings :)

Saudi Forces Kill Five Terror Suspects

Monday, February 27, 2006

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates ? Saudi security forces on Monday shot dead five suspected terrorists believed to be involved in a foiled attack on the world's biggest oil processing complex, the Saudi Interior Ministry said. A sixth suspect was arrested.

The shootings came after security forces raided two houses in the Saudi capital of Riyadh that had been under surveillance, said Lt. Gen. Mansour al-Turki, chief spokesman for the ministry. The suspects were killed during a shootout, the ministry said in a statement.

"We think all the men involved had something to do with Abqaiq attempt," al-Turki said, referring to Friday's attempt by suicide bombers to detonate car bombs inside the world's biggest oil stabilization plant.

Earlier Monday, the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya television quoted Saudi security sources as saying the forces exchanged fire with the suspected terrorists for about two hours. Police said they confiscated weapons and ammunition from the house in the suburb where the suspects had been holed up, according to the report.

The Saudi branch of Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for Friday's attack, the first ever on Saudi Arabia's vital oil infrastructure. The attack was foiled when security guards fired at two vehicles laden with explosives outside the gates to Abiqaiq, which processes about two-thirds of the country's oil before it is exported.

Two guards and two would-be suicide bombers were killed. The Interior Ministry identified the attackers Sunday as Abdullah Abdul-Aziz al-Tweijri and Mohammed Saleh al-Gheith, and said both were on a list of the 15 most-wanted terrorists the kingdom issued in June.

The deaths of the two meant that only four remain at large of the list of 15. Ten have now died or been killed, and one has been arrested.

The Saudi branch of Al Qaeda warned in an Internet statement Saturday that its suicide bombers would strike the oil industry again.

Al Qaeda militants launched a campaign of violence in Saudi Arabia in 2003. The country is the birthplace of Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden.

Saudi security forces have largely had Al Qaeda militants on the run for the past year, arresting hundreds of suspects. They killed or captured all but one of the top 26 militants on a most-wanted list issued in December 2003, then issued the second list in June.

Saudi Arabia holds over 260 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, a quarter of the world's total. It currently puts out about 9.5 million barrels per day, or 11 percent of global consumption.

I've said it before several times and here is a perfect example. If something happens on Saudi soil they are amazingly efficient in killing/capturing the offenders. They know exactly who is who over there, where they live..etc.

However, unless something happens on their soil, they have little or no inclination to act.

Hey CT, why am I an idiot for wanting the President to explain the deal he so strongly backs but has even members of his own party upset. I don't see what your problem is with it. I know I don't know the whole deal as more details seem to be released everyday. Maybe you understand the whole thing and could explain it in your next post. Or you could do your usual and call someone a name.

CT is one a dem der fellers dat don't like to break his brain.

He lets FOX tell him what to think.

A. I do not have a Michael Moore perspective, I have a middle of America perspective from conservative ole Cincinnati Ohio;

B. I have no minions. Rather, it is well known throughout MadJackland that the majority of those that read and agree with my posts have a certain joi de vie and are college educated, successful, intelligent, open-minded, sophisticated and good looking.

C. Actually, Wayne, I really don't have a problem with foreigners owning our ports (what the hell, they own most of this country anyway). The interesting part of this problem is that it has awakened these big haired bimbos like Lynn Cheney and Katherine Harris to the fact that anybody can slip a dirty bomb through our ports pretty easily.

Living in a free society will never allow Lynn and Laura to snuggle up to her big Dick and big Dummy in South Dakota and Crawford, respectively, with total security, now will it. Now there will be some insecurity that they are not as safe from the big bad brown bastards. Kind of a wake up call. As it should be. Welcome to the world America.

Another perfect example of the wisdom of ctownguy. He starts a thread with a 12 paragraph rant on why people on both sides of the political fence are wrong for questioning this deal and that we should all go along with it. Then, in his next post on the issue, he agrees with Dr. Freeze that we should kick out every foreign country and run our own ports.

The clarity of his position is breathtaking, and we all "need to get a grip." Welcome to the world of deep thinking in George Bush Supportland. It's like one of the best pieces of advice when playing Hold 'em. If after 10 minutes of table play, if you can't spot the weak player, you are the weak player.

Hello, weak player.

potential clients in the neighborhood,counselor....just a heads up for you...maybe these fine citizens were the subject of an illegal wiretap...or even(god forbid),profiling....

or maybe,a lawsuit stipulating that muslims in that area are opressed over the common american phrase "holy toledo" which obviously implies a judeo-christian hegemony......

i`m sure you`ll figure some angle..

""Now there will be some insecurity that they are not as safe from the big bad brown bastards. Kind of a wake up call. As it should be. Welcome to the world America.""

the world according to eddie...the western imperialist oppression of ohio. ....lol

c`mon,counselor...your clients are almost as silly as you are... tell them to open a training camp in mexico and you'* probably get a government grant.....

thankfully, those of us in the u.s. that aren`t afflicted with intense liberal, white, anglo self hatred still take a dim view of such things....

Michael Moore happens to be correct when exposing the Bush-Saudi connections and clear conflict of interest in regards to Islamists and terrorism. It has nothing to do with him being a fat jackass - it's just simply the truth. To be in denial of this because you don't like the messenger is like closing your eyes and ears and saying"la la la, I can't hear you". Wake up!

Maybe its me, but Weasel have you had a few too many Smithwicks this evening. Not that I normally understand your rantings but tonights jibberish is exceptionally greek.

My favorite deli in Cleveland. Hmmm. Lets see. I can't think of the name of it but its at a place I think they call Cedar Center. Around Cedar and Warrensville Roads. Haven't been there in years. Took a doctors depo up there on one of the many frivolous lawsuits but can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

Damn. Not Leftons. Oh well.

Isn't Toledo in Spain?

Wayne, am I wrong but isn't that what the big dummy is okaying, the sale of ownership of some of our ports to the UAE but the retention of the security here by our crack US security guys and gals. I mean since you know everything, I'm sure you'll correct me since you do every other time.

Oh by the way Wayne, when the US loses the Iraq war tell me how your going to blame people like me for losing the war. Since I'm the pinko, communist, hippie pig that I am and have been against the invasion of Iraq since day one and the murder of the tens of thousands of people that your boy has killed, I want you to get out the number of ways my anti-war position has undermined this country and am anxious to hear about the many different ways in which I am a traitor.

Might as well start now. By the way, I think we should both give each other credit as I believe we both predicted that our effort in Iraq would not succeed as it looks like civil war is not too far off in the distant future. Maybe I'm wrong but I believe you stated, as I did some time ago that the three major groups in Iraq would not survive in a US injected democracy.

Maybe we can sit down and have a Smithwicks together.

Wouldn't hold your hopes so high Edward--we haven't lost yet--but along those lines the liberal media is once again giving us its best shot.As I said in other thread--we are fighting 2 fronts.
You and Sheehan need to do a little more promotional work on YOUR troops. ;)

Lets look at todays headlines and see what find on war on terror from the liberal front--

"NEW YORK (Reuters) - The New York Times sued the U.S. Defense Department on Monday demanding that it hand over documents about the National Security Agency's domestic spying program."

and

"Ramsey Clark, the former US attorney general who is helping to defend Saddam, has submitted a motion recently claiming the judge "is not impartial and has a manifested bias against the defendant".

He has "repeatedly violated standards of fair trial, human rights and basic due process in the courtroom", according to Clark."
