On the course!
I'm visiting my mom and dad, and they are telling me about the new ride my mom got on Obama's plan.

Mom goes to the bank to get an $8,000 loan. Bank says, "You have too much credit available. No deal."

My folks look at each other.

My mom explains how she pays all her bills on time, yadda, yadda.

"That's not the problem. You have too much credit AVAILABLE to you. If we loan you this money, you could theoretically run up a ton of debt on your credit cards, and not be able to meet your obligations."

(They still are stumped at this fucker)

My dad says, "What if I co-sign?"

Check him out, and everything is ok. They get the deal done, and the paperwork laid out infront of them, AND and extra form, once they are done.

Yep! Once the car loan is wrapped up, this fucking douchebag has the balls to say to my dear mom, "We would like to offer you one of our credit cards with a $9,500 line of credit."

I guess in today's world you need to rack up some debt to be considered for a loan? I wish more people would live within their means like most of our elderly society. These are the people that drive the same car for at least 10 years, pay cash for most retail items and constantly look for the best deal. God bless em. Your mom and dad should have slapped that idiot when the credit card was offered.

Your Mom should have closed all accounts at that bank, then sent a letter to the Bank President explaining what a :director: dumb fuck they have for a loan officer.

Maybe even toss in a pic of her new car in front of her new bank :mj06:

Banks really don't care.

Why should they? Uncle Sam will take care of them in the long run!

You guys are right, though.

I didn't say this to my mom, but if she ever gets really sick, I think it will boost her spirits if i tell her, "I think you should go apply for a credit card at ******* now, and take a nice round the world trip!"

Banks are the most evil institutions on the planet. The first question I would ask a prospective employee is if they ever worked for a bank. If so, they would immediatly be disqualified. They make insurance companies look like greenpeace.
