I've had the Midas touch in this league but it is easy to stay humble because besides last year i've been horrible in the Nfl. So far the first month of the endeavor went incredibly well Thanks for all the support. Hope October is half as good. :toast:

NFL record 10-4
+9300.00

Chiefs -2
Think they bounce back big at home. Not even getting the standard 3 hf line. Overreaction to getting their doors blown off on Monday.
1100/1000

Detroit +6.5
Tampa is 3-0 but I think this line is too high. This is the kind of game Tampa does not show up for. Like Detroit to be in this game all day

1100/1000

Redskins -2
Off the bye week Gibbs should be able to out think Holmgren who is normally terrible on the road.
660/600

Working on a few more

Hi Clem, Im with you on the Chiefs. The Eagles have been known to come out lifeless on the Rd against decent teams. Dmac struggles when hes pressured on the Rd. Andy Reids team takes on his personality at times and thats not gonna cut it at Arrowhead. Good Luck(Psycho Dad)

With ya on the Lions. Bucs beat an awful vikings team and it was closer than it looked. They beat a struggling Bills team at home with essentially a rookie at QB. They aslo beat (not your dads) Packers who might be one of the worst teams in the league. Lambeau is not so bad at a mild 70 degrees.

Lions coming off a bye, hopefully they made some adjustments to their porus offensive line. They've been throwing the infamous "lookout" blocks. If the Pack had Javon Walker to stretch the field on the Bucs, they win that game.

Lions WR core is much better than the Pack and Joey Harrington can throw the same amount of INT's as Brett Favre. I'm not sold on Mike WIlliams yet, but Rogers and R. Williams can stretch the field on the Bucs if Harrington is given time. This will create holes for Kevin Jones who needs to attack the Bucs speed on D from the inside out.

Lions walked into Chicago like they were the superior team, got slapped in the mouth and walked home with their tail between their legs. Now they are back to the heavy underdog role, a role I like them in.

Side note, I'm predicting the Technology dopes are heavy on these 3 teams. Philly, Cincy and Tampa Bay, possibly the Broncos, also.

Clem,
Did Mcnabb's situation play into your decision at all? Or is that just sugar on top?
thanks again for your efforts Clem, BOL!

stabler-12 i agree that the chiefs looks like a good pick @ -2, might even take it myself, but don't say the eagles don't play well on the road under andy reid. i'd bet their winning % is close to 65% on the road the past 4-5 years. they play very well on the road, usually more focused than at home. its gonna be tough without akers, darwin walker and mcnabb not 100%.

The Eagles play well on the Rd against bad teams so you are missing the point. Im talking about quality opponents in a hostile environment. This aint the Cowboys and Giants or Redskins of the last 3 years. Good luck

Sorry the chefs laid down, Clem. But still a profitable day. You're doing great on Sundays. Keep up the good work!
