Alabama played a very tough OOC schedule last season. I congratulate them and they have my respect. Good program and I hope they get back on the top of college football where they belong. USC and Alabama have some history together even though Alabama screwed USC out of a unanimous NC.

But, Bama lost to OU, N Ill & Hawaii! That makes them 2-3 OOC!:nono: And, that is shabby for a so-called dominant conf.

Instead of counting rankings, count your spankings! SEC is 1-6 head to head w the Pac 10 since 2000! I'll accept the fact that the Pac 10 is better on the field & the SEC is better in the polls. I thought we were debating conf strength, not popularity? How much did Auburn's ranking help them in their season opener??? Keep counting your rankings, tv ratings & attendance guys, & I'll keep counting cash, when the two conf face each other!
