What is going on with Kershaw? Sounded like a lower back strain and then read where he had a setback:scared........I hope the Yankees and Dodgers lose every game they play:toast:.........These 2 organizations spend money like the state and federal governments do, one terrible contract after another......

Dee Gordon ain't a .404 hitter any more than Matt Kemp is a .197 hitter.

Puig, for all his faults, is a beast, Uribe is hitting .377, and Gonzalez had 10 RBI in the last series the Giants played.

I wouldn't take the Dodgers' mediocre hitting through two weeks as any sort of a sign. Also, having gone to the game yesterday, they were a few breaks away from being 10-5 and atop the NL West.

Maybe so but imho Puig is a cancer. He will get DM fired before the All Star break.
Puig has a great arm but the pitchers have caught up to him, hence the 250 avg. Time will tell. Dodgers had their chance last year. :0corn

I can get behind those sentiments much better. :toast:

I was glad to see Mattingly bench him... the ball he hit was pretty clearly going to be an out (or a homer), but to stand in the batter's box not moving is just bush league... also, see: Matt Kemp drops a routine F8 in the bottom of the first last night, and Pence receives a two base gift.

He showed that in the playoffs last year. i can't stand him. He has already ruined this team with disruption and it will continue until they get rid of him or by some miracle he straightens up. He thinks his $#^& don't stink and he needs to be brought down a peg or two.

Seems like anytime recently (Pujols, Kershaw, etc) players who get outrageous contracts, after the ink is still wet, they get injured. Albert is just getting old (also believe he's older than he claims) and thank God the Cards had the sense to let him go, (albeit I was ticked he left at first). I know Moreno has to be crying in his bank acct after all the money he has dished out for mediocre players. but that's another story.

Kershaw is back and they were still above .500 without him, you can't find a flaw in Puig's numbers, Adrian Gonzalez is batting like his old self. I think they lose tonight, but this team definitely has the pieces to go deep. It's a long season I don't like them but they will at least get to the playoffs.

With a payroll close to 240 million they should make the playoffs:shrug:............

Not with DM as manger & Puig is a cancer
No playoffs till DM is fired & Puig straightens up :0002

Puig is an a$$hole

With the Dodgers trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Puig put them on the board with a solo home run to center field.
He flipped the bat and circled the bases, but it appeared Giants starter Madison Bumgarner took exception. As Puig rounded third and headed home, Bumgarner stood near the third base line as he and the Dodgers right fielder traded barbs.

That's what the best pitcher along with the highest payroll in baseball gets you... This is the real Dodgers, who knows if it's enough to win the WS but they are not a bad team.
