Hockey is by far the toughest and baseball is by far the worst. That's why I can't watch baseball.
I'm replying to defend soccer, though. You will mainly see the acting in South American football. That is the main reason that I despise Brazilian soccer. If it weren't for their female fans, I would never tune into a game. The German Bundes League is probably the best to watch if you don't like the falling down. Those guys are pretty tough.
Also, if you have never played soccer, you have to remember that almost your entire body is exposed to be hacked at. When you really do get chopped in the calf or the achilles or anywhere else with cleats, there usually is extreme pain, but it doesn't last for a long time. You have to walk it off. This is where the rolling on the ground comes from. I hate it that the sport gets knocked for this because, to me, it is a form of cheating. I wish they would start changing the rules to keep people from doing this so much. They have started giving cards more often for "diving" in the box.
Anyway, I was watching the Toronto game last night and am amazed at how tough those guys are. Was it Tucker who was mouthing in the first period for getting jacked up against the wall right before his shift was over? I heard him screaming down to the other bench, "Is that how were playing? That's good. Game on, bitch! Game on! I'm going to **** you up!" I was cracking up. The camera stayed on him for up to 2-3 minutes trash talking. They hadn't started the new shift yet, so there was nothing to show on the ice. It was extremely funny.
