The Obama may have finally grew some balls although it is more likely that Janet Napolitanos' balls were the origin of his decision on immigration today.
Even though Congress dismissed it, the administration announced they would start reviewing illegal alien issues on a case by case basis and those illegals "without a crimnial record" would be eligible for a work visa.
Please read that sentence again...an ILLEGAL alien WITHOUT a CRIMINAL RECORD...I think we have moved to the bizzaro world.
On local AZ news tonight, they interviewed a woman who was picked up by the police as an illegal who used a stolen SSN card to get work. SHE is eligible for a visa. Again she is an illegal alien who also stole another person's ID.
In addition to the "plan" to review 300,000 cases (individually), they made no mention of the impact on all immigrants now in the legal process who have broken now laws and followed the rules to achieve citizenship.
In lieu of my other posting, maybe the new election strategy is to get as many illegal aliens to vote as possbile giving The Obama a chance at victory since most of them can't read, write, understand English or understand the depths, to which, this administration has reached in trying to overcome the Bush years.
With another DOW disaster and across the board terrible economic news, we can only hope that The Obama doesn't now start trying to make decisions as this one is obviously based on trying to recapture the Hispanic vote.
