We have Bronson back on the mound after looking like absolute trash in his first outing. I am going to look to fade this Gas Can.

Arroyo averaged just 78.8 mph on his fastball in his 2017 debut for Cincinnati (topped out at 86.7 mph, threw only six pitches at 85 mph or harder in that game). That 78.8 mph average ranks as the lowest among all pitchers who have tossed at least 75 pitches this season. The only non-knuckleball pitcher with a lower average in 2016 (minimum 500 pitches) was Jered Weaver at 77.5 mph.
Nelson is historically poor at GABP:
Nelson's 5.06 ERA in 11 games (nine starts) against Cincinnati is second-highest among divisional opponents to his 7.34 ERA against the Cardinals. Nelson has a 7.20 ERA in five career starts at GABP.
