KANSAS

BEST TEAM IN COUNTRY BUY A LANDSLIDE.

GOT ALL THE PIECES.

SIMIEN LOOKS ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL.

I LOVE THIS TEAM (FROM A BASKETBALL VIEW)

I DONT ROOT FOR ANY ONE TEAM BUT I CANNOT REMEMBER A TEAM THAT I LIKED TO WATCH MORE.

I LOVE MILES AND LANGFORD REMINDS ME OF KAREEM RUSH.

SIMIEN IS MEAN AND COLLISON IS PLAYING THE BEST BALL OF HIS CAREER. I KNOW OKLAHOMA IS 1 OF THE TOUGHEST PLACES TO WIN BT I BELIVE KANSAS IS MUCH MORE "BASKETBALL TALENETED THAN OKLAHOMA) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PRICE.

BUT EVEN IF PRICE HAS A CAREER DAY I CANT SEE WHERE THE OTHER SCORING IS GOING TO COME FROM. ERE'S JUMP SHOT IS
M I A THIS SEASON. THE BIG BOYZ FOR OKLAHOMA ARE ATHLETES AS OPPOSED TO BASKETBALL PLAYERS LIKE COLLISON AND SIMIEN.

KANSAS RUNS THE TABLE AND CUTS THE NETS DOWN.
AFTER TODAY EVERYONE WILL BE SAYING THIS.
MAKE SOME MONEY ON THE FACT THAT THEY ARE PLAYING IN OKLAHOMA AND CATCHING 2 POINTS.

Mistake Finder...I agree with you totally. Kansas has the complete package now that Simien is back at almost full strength. Guard play is essential in the Dance and Hinrich and Miles fit the bill. Collison, Simien, and Langford along with Graves off the bench make this team virtually UNSTOPPABLE!!! I see Kansa running the table also except for maybe a slip-up in the Big 12 tourney, but otherwise this team is stacked. Roy needs to get the monkey off his back, and I feel this is the year!!!

Just my opinion, Kansas for years has had a boatload of talent but Williams always finds a way to lose with the talent. I am going with the Sooners at home today.

ROCK CHALK (wont use the naughty third word) but I see the feathered friends runnin wild today as well. No way as stated above OK can fill the basket for 78+ which is what the will need to cover 2' pts.

I dont think Kansas will win it all this year. In my opinion Kansas lacks depth & from what I have seen they dont shoot well from the ft line. Remember Duke lost a shot at the Final 4 last year because of poor ft shtg.

Also if any of the players mentioned above (Collison, Simien, Heinrich or Miles) goes down even for a half a game in the tournament, the Jayhawks are toast.

I personally believe the Longhorns are the best team in the Big 12 and have the best shot at cutting down the nets in March. TJ Ford is awesome. Depth and scoring from several positions, and one of the best coaches in the country.

Slight lean towards the Jayhawks today, because I dont like OU's inside game. In last game v OSU, the Sooners went on an extended scoring drought in the 2nd half that allowed the Cowboys back in the game momentarily.

I have to respectfully disagree.

Simien or no Simien, this team is totally overrated. Aaron Miles is a total joke, he cannot make a big shot, and he is totally erratic. They have no bench. While Langford is a scorer, he is awful from the foul line, and will nieed to hit free throws in the tournament. Lastly, their bench is a complete joke.

While they may win today, this team will not win the tournamnet, and they are totally overrated.

I'm not laying a nickel on it.

I'm not laying a nickel on it.

Hostile environment for my Jayhawks today

Normally I would side with the home team here (- 2) but I'm not rooting against my own team.

Think I will just enjoy the show. Hopefully ;)

Best to all

Kansas..........no way they win it all............They lose at home to Arizona by 20+ after blowing a 20 pt lead.......they lose to North Carolina......anyone checked Carolina record recently.........Kansas had their chance last yr and couldnt get it done. I believe you will see today the difference between a tough team(Oklahoma) and a soft team(Kansas).........................

Here I thought you were talking about Arizona and didn't want you to hex them. . . Kansas does not have the depth to win it all IMO and Arizona exposed this nicely on their own floor. For Kansas to play as well as they did the first half of that matchup and then to fall like they did in the second half is a clear indication that they simply ran out of gas against a good team.

I think the Jayhawks fall in the Elite 8

Hey Nickel looks like our boy Luke finally showed up last night! Man what a huge huge victory for the Cats last night. UofA is the team who won't lose again this season, as per the OU UK game, I'm on OU, too much momentum and the crowd will be jacked up. Sooners will rool :toast:

Yes, Luke finally played like the old Luke and Frye was just dominant. Looked at Gardner's stats and realized he still played a hell of a game with 10 assists. . they didn't need him to score the way Ricky, Luke, and Channing were playing. Could not understand why Hassan only played six minutes though. . . did he get in trouble this week or something?

Anyways, the pieces are starting to fall in place, but they need to keep up desire to win and play 100%.

Hassan and Andre's minutes both seem to fluctuate alot. One week each will play 20+ next week only around 10. Didn't hear anything about Hassan screwing up this week, I know Lute has been really happy with Andre lately so who knows maybe that had something to do with it.
Interesting thing I read on the UofA insiders page, check the difference in Lukes stats on Thursday games to Saturday games. Come Saturday he is more tired and well, plays like $hit, yesterday being the only game of the week he was able to rest his ankle much more and was more focused. Big series next week in the Bay. GL today!

Mistake.....

Just my opinion, but a VERY STRONG one......

Oklahoma WILL win this game. PERIOD. OU could win by double digits. OU is the best bet on the board.
