Thought the same thing about Luke having an entire week to prepare for the game. Hopefully this layoff is exactly what he needs to finish the year off right. If not, the Pac 10 tourney may hurt him/our team as it doesn't give us any time to rest for the Big Dance.

MistakeFinder,

Maybe KU won't lose but it looks like they can't score either. 6 pts in 9 minutes in the 1st Half...wow....I know its early and OU hasn't scored much more....there goes the Over on the total.

Good Luck--:D

Oklahoma matches up well with Arizona.............they beat the wildcats pretty handily last yr in the big dance and I think OK is a better team this year. Also I think the Big 12 is a lot tougher conference than the Pac 10. There are some pretty weak sisters in the Pac 10 this year.

What a hideous 1H performance. I have been saying from the start of the year, this team is headed nowhere. They are totally overvalued every game, along with Puke. And Miles, what a joke. I'll never forget his first game when he had that shot in the corner and it "slipped" out of his hands. He is just a total choker. Please dont back Kansas the rest of the year, they arent even a top 8 team.

Already mentioned depth as a problem for Kansas, but another that I forgot to mention is team defense. . . Kansas doesn't play any. And when they have piss poor shooting performances like today, what can they fall back on? The answer is nothing. What are the odds that Kansas shoots lights out the entire tournament in March? 70:1

This is a MUCH better UofA team this year than last years squad was, that goes w/o saying, but not as a huge Big-12 follower, do you really think that this years Oklahoma team is better? I know they lost some guys to the draft, I think at a neutral court UofA would take OU. Never know, wouldn't be surprised if they face off in the 16 or 8.

Interesting thought about Arizona/OU this year. . . I think the story would be how well OU shoots the 3. . . if even close to 50%, it would make things VERY difficult for Arizona to win.

Why do you think Arizona is better?????? I will agree if more experience makes them a better team but if thats the case, then Okla is better too. Remember the Pac 10 is a lot worse this year than last yr.............Off the top of my head I will say Usc,Ucla,Stanford,Oregon were far better last year than this year, so Arizonas run through the Pac 10 is not as impressive to me as last year. I may be wrong but the only newcomer contributing to Arizona this yr that wasnt there last year is Hassan Adams and
Andre Iguodala ..............Okla on the other hand has Jabari Brown,Ebe Era and the best guard tandom in the country in Hollis Price and Quannas White...........IMO not much has really changed between Arizona and Oklahoma since OU tore apart Arizona 88-67 about a year ago......................I also think Arizona isnt a tough and physical as the sooners...............

maverick,

Good question. . . I think the real difference in this Arizona team this year is their interior play. Much improved from last year with Frye and Anderson stepping up even more. OU is one of a very small select group of teams that I think has a legit shot of beating Arizona in March because of their physical style of play and perimeter shooting especially the long ball.

For Arizona's sake, I hope somebody else trips up OU before they have to play them! Arizona also has greater depth this year IMO.

Let's remember!

Let's remember!

This was a home game for OU. Cant put much stock in these games for March. The Sooners have yet to defeat a quality opponent on the road. My guess is that they wont look as good @ Missouri 2/26.

Also, in each of their last two home wins they have let the opponent back in the game late.

Texas still the only Big 12 team I would back in the Big Dance.

BEST TEAM IN COUNTRY BUY A LANDSLIDE.

Exuse me you said what??? Must be smokin the purple :weed:

Someone with your basketball knowledege how could you make a statement like that???

Think they had their shot last year and they couldn't cash in. This years team is not very deep, and does not D up that well. Also in my opinion Hinrich is the best player on this squad.

I LOVE THIS TEAM (FROM A BASKETBALL VIEW)

I don't understand what you mean by this from a basketball view as opposed to a North American Bar Rules Dwarf Tossing view????

GL with your future plays.

I am not syaing that OU isn't good and I 100% agree that the PAC-10 is HANDS DOWN weaker this year than last year. So yes to say that UofA is winning PAC-10 games easier this year since the PAC-10 isn't as tough, thats B.S. cause UofA did great in the PAC-10 last year. With the exception of Ike Diguo of ASU, Andre Igoudala and Hassan Adams are the best 2 frosh in the PAC-10. Plus Chris Rogers a frosh at the 1 and 2 is solid. Walton is playng worse than last year, but Gardner is still looking great Anderson has stepped up big time and Channing Frye us playing unreal of late. So theres no doubt UofA is a better team this year. And with 2 of the top 5 H.S. players coming to UofA next year, they won't be letting down anytime soon.
