San Diego was up 66-65, Stanford went on a 7-0 run to make it 72-66. SD then hit a 3pter to make it 72-69....5-0 Stanford run to end the game.

That's almost as bad as when I lost on Weber St. in their conference championship game because they got a technical for some dumbass fan throwing sh*t on the court!!!!

how do they know it was a weber st fan and not someone that had a bet on the other team? pretty dangerous precedent calling a technical there. i'll keep that in mind the next time i'm at a game and the team i'm backing is down.

Let me add to the 'fun'. CMU under 152 (was 153, I played late). Last second 28 footer pushes me (making a total of 92 pts scored in 2nd half - nice defense.)

Weber St... +6.5 (was 7, played late). Lose by 7.

I gotta find another out.

Great angle -- dress up in the jersey of the opposite team you are betting and then throw a tantrum at the end of the game to try and milk a couple of technicals. I swear, if I thought I could pull it off I'd try this -- but I'd probably be jailed and end up with a fine. At least they won't penalize the home team if we bust an NFL official in the head with a bottle.

OH MY GOD... Notre Dame up by 7 with less than a minute left, and end up tied up at half. I had them -2.5 1h for a very large wager, and thought things would be ok. How can a team give up that many points in so little time.

I bet all four Pac 10 teams today, but was at work didnt know anything about USD coming back in that game.

Heard the Cal game went to OT, but knew they won.

4-0 SU & ATS! Oregon goes for 1st round sweep tomorrow.

I guess not alot of people looked at Memphis schedule those last 13 games. C-USA is not a good conf top to bottom!

ps also took Illinois -9' & UConn -5. Waiting on Kansas to lose my damn $$. But my boys handled their business today!

On the topic of refs:

* I just don't think that's a foul at the end of the Mizz-SoILL gm. Dearman was stationary, Paulding forced the issue and created the contact. I just don't see how that's a foul.

* Conversely, I thought it was a GOOD no-call at the end of NCSt-Cal regulation. The NCSt guy blocked it clean, but collided on the follow-through. Good block, but definitely contact after the release.

Bottom line. At the end of regulation, refs should err on the side of no-call. Let the players decide the game. If it's a clear mugging, call it. But I really think the Salukis got the fist on that last play. Nothing to merit the foul call.

F**KING lucky ass Irish bastards. Guy makes a great clutch drive & dish, big guy misses an 18-incher. At least they covered but blew the ML plus several pools I have. As RAZ would say,

'I guess he'll see that 18-incher in his dreams... and in his mother"

bad beats

bad beats

I broke even for the day but lost the folowing bad beats:

Central Mich +7.5 (2nd half) - useless 3 pointer by Creighton with only a couple ticks left (the last score of the game).

Missouri -2.5 (1st half) - SIU scores late to blow my 3 point lead.

KU/Utah State under 63.5 (1st half) - KU scores with about 10 seconds left to make the half score 34-30 !

San Diego +6.5 (game) - unlike most - I had a winner if it falls 6, but no - they turn it over and get dunked on at the buzzer to lost by 8 !

U Conn -5 - blown inbound pass for an easy lay up with 1 second left

Memphis -1.5 (1st half) - ASU scores as time expires to blow a 3 point lead and the half ends 33-32

Dayton -2 - who know what happens here if the refs don't blow the Off. Goaltending call that would have left Dayton down 1 with 90 seconds left ??

Marquette -5.5 (1st half) - outscored 8-1 to end the half and lead by only 5 (29-24)

Weber St. +6.5 (game) - another bad beat at the end

Rough nite for heartbreakers but I broke even as I cashed big plays on the Duke under (1st, game and 2nd half), Wisc-Milw (3 ways), Wisc-Milw under 1st half and game and I middled with the over in the 2nd - also played Utah State in the 2nd as well as the under plus the biggie was CMU on the ML !
