Hey all,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I think I learned an important lesson: 1st half lines are SUICIDE. I got beat on every play. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Second: damn Duke and WVU. How can these teams get demolished this way, especially WVU? The only fun part was watching Belien attack Ewing on the sidelines. Pssht. This is NOT a tournament caliber team.

ANYWAYS.

Tonight's BIG play, hoping to make up for some lost units: VaTech +15. Of course UNC is a great team, but VaTech has play some close games in the ACC this season. I say too many points.

GLTA!

You are right

You are right

1H lines are very difficult, especially in BB. If you catch a momemtum swing just before the half, you could be cooked. If the line looks too good to be true for the game, it really looks too good to be true for the half.

That being said, I think there are some good spots for 2H lines, specifically if you have watched the 1st half. Case in point - UNLV vs TCU - UNLV was down 7 at the half after playing miserably and TCU playing out of their minds. Line comes out at 10.5 for the 2H, which is a lot, but I knew TCU would not be able to keep up this pace, especially on the road. I essentially had UNLV -4 when the closing line was 15 or so (don't quote me on that). UNLV went on a 15-2 run to start the half and bingo, they even covered the game number.

I like 1H lines in football though, there are some good values there.
