and i bet that 90% of the people that go to the opera and ballets and whatever, don't like it. they go for the "image". whatever that is

i am going to the Nutcracker tomorrow night......lol.....
asked girl to go (i like her) -- she goes "didn't know you were a ballet guru"...i say "i kind of like the music"......i get funny look.....i say "well, i will be honest with you -- i am going because i thought you would like to go and i want to take you out".......BINGO!!....she loved that response and honesty paid off....lol.......
i think you might be right KIND OF....about the image thing.....but girls like that stuff and they especially just like to get dressed up to go anywhere and feel special.....
kind of weird but hey......
btw -- anyone think i can sneak a pair of headphones into the auditorium???? hate to miss that USC/Notre Dame game.....
