Its hard to imagine that OU is a 15 point dog. I agree with the number, but that said I think Baylor is feeling pretty confident, maybe a little too confident. Stoops is a very good coach. Somebody talk me out of taking the points.

I am trying to talk myself out of taking the OU ML, I am all over OU plus the points.

Well here are a couple thoughts.

Some of the obvious things that come to mind:
Baylor at home
Healthy
spread up to -16.5

Things to consider:
Expect a "black out" fans will be going off if they get an early lead. They are pulling the tarp from the endzone so it will be packed:
http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/75210/tarp-era-ends-in-time-for-baylors-big-game

Bryce Petty vs Blake Bell
Say what you want but this game means more to Baylor than it does to Ok.
Big game "boob", stoops and Ok have a history of coming up lame.

Ok likes to run the ball, Baylor has been very good at stopping the run, albeit against some chumps but if Baylor gets a lead this Ok team behind Bell could be in an uncomfortable situation, playing catchup.

With all this said i'm not trying to talk you out of the pts, 16-17 is a lot. Ok can certainly win, Baylor might be pressing in their "super bowl", just some things to consider.

Good luck, I'm on the -15

I think it will be a great game but I wouldn't get crazy. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning when that 17 popped up there. I'm trying to keep myself from adding more so I thought telling others would help :mj07:

they're tryin to even out the action. Was way lopsided, now its fiddy fiddy :0074

I'll take my chances with 17. No game of the year shit though just a med play for me.

I'm waiting until Sat to use that GOY :0074

IMO, Millard (Sooner FB) being out with an injury will prevent OU from grinding away like they want to. I personally like the over.

I was at the OU/Tech game and was not impressed with OU. They barely hung on at home and Tech is down on recruiting this year. They are a program with good history but I just don't know if they have the talent to keep up with Baylor at home. If Baylor gets up, I don't think they let off. On a stage this big and being ranked where they are, there will be no mercy.

Bell is a big strong brute QB for Sooners, but he has some very athletic WRs, Petty for Baylor is a good target master at QB but he's not as athletic as RGIII was when they beat the Sooners last, one of the only times in last 16 tries. Lots of hype in this tilt, most touts are on Baylor yet the line went from 14 1/2 to 14 quickly, banged up to 16 1/2, back down to 15 1/2, then back up again, which only means to me that someone's middling this game for big bucks and someone is pounding it each time the line goes up on Baylor, it's not the bookmakers wanting the public to take the pts, trust me when I say this, the lines are adjusted after the $$$ is dropped on one side or the other.

Sooners looked horrible vs Texas but also Horns had a lot of fuel in the fire and Mack Brown was in the news all that wk, with many sports reports saying he was on the hot seat, etc. Sooners will show up this evening, the game will be decided on TOs and penalties.

GL to those of us on the Sooners and GL to those who are on the Bears!!
