Doc,sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother.I'm sure she set an example for her children and family.I'm sure she was a positive role model.And being a role model is the most powerful form of education.

Here is a poem I heard at a funeral I recently attended, seemd to hit home, hopefully it will bring a little comfort!

I did not die

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

doc ~ sorry for the loss. i lost my grandparents in a 6 week span. i always seem to remember all the great times we had together & that eases the pain a little.

take care & my prayers will be with you & your family!!
