What is everyone thinking about Kansas/Georgia Tech game tomorrow?? I'm somewhat surprised by the -4 1/2 line as was expecting closer to a pick em spread. Was at the games last night & have to say Kansas is playing their best ball of the year right now (although opponents haven't been exactly stellar in the tournament) .... Georgia Tech was somewhat fortunate to win (and barely cover) against scrappy Nevada .... by the way I've got to give props to the Nevada-Reno fans as they represented in St Louis well, and as we discovered later down in Laclede's Landing they like to party post-game!! :D Enjoyed some good times with the Wolfpack faithful last night .... but back to the game at hand tomorrow, was just looking for some feedback as I am obviously a Jayhawk homer & would love to see KU go to their 3rd Final Four in a row, so wanted a different perspective & some thoughts on Georgia Tech for those that know them well .... Thanks & good luck to all!! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!! :toast:

I have been too every Ga Tech game this year, Elder will very likely play today, and even if he is not effectice they have so many other weapons that they can def still win w/out him. The main problem with Ga Tech will be the big guys for Kansas and holding their own on the boards. Kansas has good guards but I like Techs better, especially with Elder in there..as Lewis is shooting well now, to go along with Jack and Bynum. I could possibly see the gas running out of Tech's tank today, but I just have a feeling it will be a great game, decided at the very end!!

Good Luck

Geno,
Being a Jayhawk myself it's hard to bet with the head and not the heart. However, I have to go with the Hawks today...please let Elders ankle be too tender to play. Even if he does see time off the bench I feel he will be nothing but a warm body on the floor. He never came back in the game Friday and had an aircast on which leads me to think it was a high ankle sprain...which we all know hurts like hell when you try and cut/change direction quickly.
Play the Hawks small and the over for 2 units:shrug:

Thanks for the replies guys, especially from Sanks the GT fan .... have to agree this should be an evenly matched game so will probably just play Kansas small & hope for some late free throws to push over the number. Good luck & Rock Chalk Jayhawk, go KU!! :D
