I don't see any reason why the Magic would want Arenas???I see moving Carter as it seemed he didn't have the get up on a regular basis, surprised by them shipping Lewis & Gortat....I really think this trade sent them backwards and not just because they lost the 2 past games since trade....

i like turkalo or however the hell you speell it...dude was clutch during their finals run, and always liked him. if arenas can get anywhere near the player he was in previous years, then could end up being big move. richardson is wildcard. not sure how he will fit in but we will see come playoff time if the move was worth it. i like it for now

Bass and Clark will have to play up to the 5 spot. Turkoglu might have to D up opposing bigs (did good job on Dirk tonight). Arenas is just a quirky guy, not a trouble-maker...he and GM have history from days in Golden State. Is Orl better? I say it's too close to call, but who cares? They are not knocking out Miami and/or Boston.

I think they could take Miami but not Boston.

I think it's going to end up being a great trade for them IF they can get another big man. They won't be able to beat Boston without 1 or 2 more big guys on the team.

Richardson is a throw in but is good because he can give them that 20+ point night here and there. Turk is the unknown IMO because he hasn't played well last year or this year. Was it because he was unhappy or has he lost some of his game. I doubt he's lost his game because it was never based on athletic ability. He'll be able to score off the pick and roll just like 2 years ago.

Arenas is the key. People may not like him but he can flat out shoot the ball and unlike most guys he can do it off the dribble and off the catch and shoot. Most guys prefer one of the other. I think once they get the pick and roll down with he and Howard they may be unstoppable. He will also be key because he can play the one or two. I think that's key because it will allow Richardson to play at the two and they can have a very big lineup with Turk at the 3 if they want. I think he gives them the ability to make some matchup problems for other teams. As does Turk being able to play the 3 or 4. Even though Lewis could play the 3 or 4 he was nothing more than a spot up shooter and any 3 or 4 could guard him because of that.

Arenas I think really is trying to improve his image after the whole gun incident. He not only lost tons of fans, but millions in endorsments. I think he will behave himself. If he can just keep himself outta trouble I think he is a good guy too have around. He can flat out shoot. I remember watching crazy videos of him on youtube just makin ridicoulous amounts of 3's in a row. I think they will have too go after another big guy sometime during the year. Who knows lots of things can happen before playoffs. Eeeerock always like reading your stuff man, you seem too know what your talkin aobut.

As far as Arenas, and well any other athlete who has messed up like him, I dont understand the thought process. If someone paid me millions of dollars and said the only stipulation was I was not allowed to be a complete idiot asshole, well I would do everything I could not too be a idiot asshole. I never understood why these guys didint just have big ass parties at their house with tons of females. They would sstay outta the spotlight and would still be gettin their ass everynight. Guess millions of dollars fucks up your judgement something I will never know....

I realize that was kinda off topic but I never understood how athletes do these things too themselves...
