i'm kind of shocked that Sd is actually giving 3 instead of getting 3 or more,2-4 giving a 4-1 team 3? sd has lost to the leagues worst teams in past yrs in back to back weeks with oakland and st louis. also losing to seattle and kc in which if pats were playing against either team on road they would be giving points. Also i believe Sd had giving up 2w kick off returns for td's and 1 punt return for a touchdown and two blocked punts 1 for a td and one for a safety against Brandon tate for the Ne who i believe has 2 or 3 kick off returns for td's and new england special teams has blocked a fg and a punt against miami,to add on to that antonio gate will be playing with a bad ankle and starting wr malcom floyd is out and so is start kicker. To me this line smells fishy and not to mention that i'm always on the wrong side of a pats games. Please thoughts and input

Where it is real F ing COLD
San Diego is a much better team at home.. I was suprised to see their defense ranked so high. #1 against the pass. I am a little bit wary of the stats..

KC - Jax - St Louie - Arizona - Seattle - Raiders

Noot much of a passing game.. I sure as hell wish my Vikings had that schedule..

This is a sure pass game for me.. I don't know how the hell anyone could pick it.. I would lean Chargers pending Gates availability but I have no real reason for it..

I guess that doesn't help at all

FWIW, I LOVE the chargers. In short, Love the spot for both teams, love the line, and SD shows up and kicks some azz.

i probably should just quit betting period lol

No you just need to try to think like the books do. Be able to spot a trap. Stay away from losing propositions, and teams you can't get a good feel for. For me if something smells fishy it usually is. If I see a line on a game in the Nfl that I think the public will think is "Easy", that is a good sign to go the other way or just stay away. All that said you can be the most disciplined guy in the world and still not be able to figure out what happens on Sunday. If you ever want to discuss a certain game or angle feel free. On here or you can ask for my email from Jack. Good Luck

Smells like a crack whore at a fish market to me, SD has looked so pitiful lately and the Pats just beat Blt. Guess this is a typical letdown game with them on the road and SD at home coming off a bad loss. I love the Patriots but I may lay off of it.

thanks clem d very nice of you.I checked betting percentage on sportsbooks says 90 percent are on Pats and line is still at diego minus 3,does anyone have any stats on when a underdog is really the favorite in the game like this one?also herd malcolm floyd and antonio gates did not practice today i believe this is the 2nd straight one they both have missed,i really dont think they can pull this one out without gates and floyd, have a feeling gates will play and floyd will sit .

So. Cal
here's a 100% gambling angle:

nobody in this town has seen the chargers win a game (except the 50k that attended the two home games)

they barely sold enough seats for the pats game (must be ne fans showing up in town) so this sundays game is on tv

thus, the douchebags will lose.

take sd next week at home vs the titans when they wont be on tv again (12k seats remain)

never listen to gjn23, he has nothing positive to add on anything and only likes to spew lies about Diego

WRONG, most fans go to bars to watch the games when they cant dish out $150+ for a game. There are plenty of bars around town showing the games and they made out because of the black out games. Uninformed garbage you are spewing again.

barely sold enough seats? it's SOLD OUT. Patriots fans? where they at? Havent seen one all week.

Uninformed garbage you are spewing again.:nono:

back to the topic at hand. The defense and Offense play much better at home. They have scored 79 points and given up 23 points at home in two games. Not having Floyd will hurt but any time you have Rivers firing back there you have a chance. Looks like Gates and Mathews will play.

Yes the Chargers are 2-4 but they could easily be 5-1 if it wasnt for Special Teams struggles. All 4 losses have been due to bad Special Teams play. if that gets corrected they should win but that's a big if.

GJN is just a little negative is all.
I know what you are saying of almost being 5 -1.. Hell I can say that about the Vikes. I am leaning Chargers tomorrow but I have a hard time getting over their opponents thus far.. SD should be able to beat the Rams and Raiders on the road...

you're pretty funny and completely wrong as usual

home opener....was at 2 different bars downtown...both pretty packed....each had the charger game on illegally....total # of charger fans at bar 1.....ZERO.....total number of charger fans at bar #2....ONE.....they had to dump the sound of the charger game because everybody wanted to hear the jets-pats

look....san diego is a great town with perfect weather......but it's one of the worst sports town, period......the padres couldnt get over 25k for any of their last 4 games of the year and they were 1 back??? this douchebag team is the "town's favorite".....yet they're 1 for 3 in selling out home games (and will be 1-4 as they arent selling out tenn next week).

if you think it's negative, then your just livin in denial....which most "sports" fans out here are.
