I am thinking of taking the Cards for pure value. Clemens is 44 years old and going on 3 days rest will be difficult. It's also Clemens final home game and maybe last game in Houston so he'll have the adrenaline flowing. However, Weaver hasn't been as bad recently and Houston's bullpen is fully capable of blowing this game. Cardinals should come ready after losing the first couple games of this series.

Let us know if you pull the trigger TJ. I think the Cards will come out strong for Sunday nigth baseball. And you said Weaver is pitching good lately? Public all over Stros. Seems like a good shot at the Cards.

at the risk of hyperbole, clemens is superhuman so im not going to worry too much about 3 days rest. his numbers in this role arent great but theyre not horrible either. weaver has been better and he is a very capable pitcher.

going to play the under 9 at (-118).

Think a lot of the Sunday night games have gone Over to this point in the season (just guessing). All that football money is driving this one up. I'm on the dog and the Under.

It was setting up to be a good dog hit too. Clemens was racking up the pitch count early, St. Louis poped an early run. Eveything was going just rosey up until Weaver decided to throw to Ausmus with runners on the corners, a 3-1 count and 2 outs, with Roger on deck. That switched the momentum. Of course Biggio running half way to the pitchers mound to escape the tag for Beliard on the Dp, that kind of did them in too.

I had a huge bet on the Cardinals. Weaver is a moron for not walking Ausmus, but the horrible call by both umpires really pisses me off. Since when can you run into the infield to avoid the tag? Also, it looked like Belliard still tagged Biggio.
