today I am driving to a construction site in Alpharetta Ga

its out in the country and I get turned around.

I come to a dead end road and there is a new building with a sign sayin

the Islamic Center for Mohhammed or something like that. In the middle of nowhere.

this is what will be America's downfall. We are allowing them to propagate among us. Raise their fanatic familys, prosper from America opportunitys, and hide in plain site.

wtf.

I know we are a free country , but does stupid ring a bell.

what other country allows this.

the muslims are kicking christians out left and right and Isis is killing as many as they can.

they know what this does . it allows steps into their society .

why dont America wake up.

America wake up & do what ? Having a mosque in Ga. & you feel some kind of threat ? Everyone in that mosque is being trained to kill innocent people.
Just to let you know my grandmother came from Beirut & belonged to the Maronite church ( catholic ) , for many years the Christians in Lebanon were a minority but with majority rule. They treated Muslims as 2nd class citizens & all the benefits that go along with that kind rule. Well the tide changed and the Muslims became the ruling party . This hatred between Christians & Muslims has been going on for centuries. I'm happy that you just found out about this conflict probably through Fox news. Try reading a little history !
I loved my grandmother she was the sweetest & caring person but ONE thing we never discussed around her was Muslims & Jews .

My honest opinion. I think it could all be a fake for a reality tv show. Bruce dresses like a woman gets paid million upon millions of dollars, I will be a believer when he gets gender reassignment surgery. Why would a man 65 years old all the sudden decide to become a woman?

I love Tebow, he is what every kid should want to be when they grow up.

He doesn't go to strip clubs. Just sayin...

I am a liberal. I don't think Jenner derserved the award. Personally I think he/she deserves ALOT MORE SHIT for that accident in Malibu. I say that as someone who was rear ended and had my car totaled. I don't hate Tebow. Both that have/do strongly support one or the other do it because it aligns with their personal beliefs/agendas. I will not boycott ESPN over this. Never watched the ESPYS ever anyway.

My opinion is easy. I neither support nor oppose either of them. They do not truly represent anything other t than themselves. I don't think it takes courage to pray in the end zone after scoring a touchdown. I applaud Tebow's abilities and drive that he was able to accomplish much with what I personally consider to be a lesser talent level in football skills. Good for him. I also applaud his commitment to his beliefs, regardless if I agree with them or not, he's a man of conviction. I have no ill will towards him whatsoever, he is not someone I admire or spend time thinking about other than this moment and other situations of similar circumstance.
Jenner is along the same lines as I don't begrudge anyone their own beliefs or desires. If he wanted to be a Geisha girl than so be it. Who cares, doesn't affect my choices. I applaud Jenner for his strong will and level of conviction equally as I do Tebow. I don't agree with him receiving the award. I think there were better options more begetting of the term courageous that should have received it. It is, however, undeniable that it took at least a modicum of courage to overcome the fear and anxiety that must have come with the choice to do this publicly. If he indeed did this in the social forum to help younger people struggling with their gender identity, than I feel he deserves a good amount of credit for his actions. That remains to be seen though. I would like to see him/her do more for that cause and less on a more self serving cause.
I think comparisons of the two or who said what and when is ridiculous and just a distraction to slake the public's thirst for sensationalism. It's topics such as this that are safe for the social order to discuss because the majority of all our citizens get nervous when they stray too far from the herd mentality. Most of us prefer to let others lead the way on the important issues.
So for simply stepping away from the herd with conviction, I give them both some props, but will not give them a thought beyond that.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Pretty much this.
I am not sure how deeply insightful a discussion over which celebrity sports figure is a better person can actually be. Replace Tebow and Jenner with some non-sports reality celebrities and you start realizing how silly the conversation is to begin with. The real issue I would take is why do we care so much about these people? Why do we let the media turn our entire social focus to celebrity and sports figures? Why are humans so hell bent on hero worship of people we don?t really know?

If we insist on breaking down these issues, I would say Tebow and Jenner have a lot in common. Both are individuals with insane talent and dedication to their sport. But both also gained much more attention by publicly promoting their personal beliefs, than they would have by settling for whatever news coverage their talents would have normally attracted. Both clearly don?t hate the spotlight.
Tebow became an icon of the dominant religion/social club in America (Christianity), a group that pretty much needs no help to be on top.
Whereas Jenner took became a figurehead for a fringe element in society. A group that otherwise doesn?t get a lot of help or attention.
Tebow seems pretty focused on charity and helping those in need. Jenner seems focused on shining the light on Gender dysphoria issues (yeah most people with no gender identification issues are probably tired of hearing about this type of stuff, but hundreds of thousands of americans (if not millions), are born not feeling right about their gender. Why not help them out?).

About the quote in the graphic. The end of it is trite BS. Anytime I read a ?This is what?s wrong with America? type thing, I usually stop paying attention. There are many many things right and wrong with America at any given time, but highlighting one random thing as ?THE PROBLEM? suggests a lazy mind. But telling Tebow to keep it to himself, probably comes from the fact that we have heard it all before. Ad naseum. If some people are getting tired of the over promotion of LGBT issues lately, can you imagine how tired a lot of people are about hearing about Christianity? Particularly since uber-enthusiastic Christianity, historically, has tended to trample the rights of those around them. There is plenty of Christian-fatigue to go around. At least in my circles.

Maybe it can boil down to some people like the frontrunners (Christianity via Tebow) and some like the underdogs (trans people via Jenner).

I dont care where your grandma came from . The facts are the facts.

Everyone in that mosque is not being trained to kill innocent Americans. But 5% should be a concern for us.

As the young muslims grow into teens, they have been indoctrinated to a certain level of jihad.

So they talk to their fellow teens and discuss radical ideas instead of peaceful ideas.

Hey I know this mohhamad Imam and we can stop by his house after school. He is so cool and talks about the middle east and ........ blah blah blahhh... you get the point.

so they are sheltered. If they bring it up around family they are sushed. So they go to the back rooms and get some groups. They plot going to Syria , they think about Iraq, they want to see the world and fight in Africa.

so they are raised with the potential to do the domestic terror and kill our army people.

So why couldnt you discuss Muslims or Jews with your grandmother. That seem rather odd when the wisdom was there, not to take advantage of that.

The U.S. just significantly boosted military aid to Israel by 50% to $4.5 billion/year only days after a report found 238,000 veterans have died waiting for VA healthcare.

The biggest threat to this country, bar none, is the spread of Islam.

With the building of Islamic temples within our borders on the rise, the liberal attitude of "live and let live" will become a horrific, haunting nightmare.

For those who think Islam is a religion of peace, in the not too distant future, you are about to take a cram course titled, "Ha ha, guess again! We fooled you! America is soft. Buncha' morons. "

Know anything about Sharia Law?

Try explaining your rights as a homosexual to a member of Jihad.

The time is fast approaching when all the "open-minded, liberal sympathizers
will be crying.....

"God help us."

It's on its way.

If a guy wants to become a girl or vice versa, I could give a rats ass (unless I'm in the middle of a major makeout and he/she pulls a "Crying Game" on me). What really chops my ass is the total self-promotion aspect of the entire Jenner/Kardashian clan. Fuck in a, Jenner won the decathalon 30 fucking years ago and this old fart/bitch continues to keep his name in the fucking news. Go away please!!!!!!

As far as espn/espys go, fuck that shit. I won't watch that crap. Give me a ball game not this self-promotion garbage that the morons of this country seem to gobble up. On that note, I am proud to say that I never, ever watched a single episode of American Idol or Survivor. I think people are dumber after they watch that manure.

Do you even KNOW any Muslims? Have you ever spoken to one? Your ignorance is astounding!

THIS is much more representative of Islam and the countless Muslims living in the West....from a girl that I know....

"During this holy month, my prayers each day go out to the hundreds and thousands of men, women, children and soldiers that have died, been abandoned and are now living homeless and in fear in Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Palestine and Pakistan. Due to several wars on terror, it brings tears to my eyes to learn of the despair that is plaguing the Islamic countries; countries that once (not too long ago) exercised much power and prosperity. I can't help but shake my head in awe as my dad educates me on the political and civil unrest that is spreading in these countries like wild fire. Unrest that is triggered by the greed of outside forces to gain hegemony of a 'New World Order.' Conspiracies aside, for what ever reason this so called war on terror may be happening, the bottom line is that people, innocent people, muslims or not, are dying. And the living, unable to escape, are breathing air is mixed with smoke and human ashes of their brothers and sisters.

What really leaves a trail of goosebumps down my back is knowing the current brutality that is taking place in Burma against Muslims. "Wait, what's happening where," you may ask? Don't worry, until recently, I myself had very little knowledge of it. You know why? Because this time, Muslims are the ones being hunted, targeted, tortured and killed in the most gruesome ways. All because they are guilty of belonging to a certain faith. Why should the greater media publicize matters in which Muslims are the victims of a genocide? Why should they announce it as "Breaking News" and have it run on every news channel for months? No, they should not. Because Muslims are the bad guys, not worthy of peoples' sympathy. Terrorist attacks that "somehow" always end up getting traced back to Muslims have susceptible minds convinced that we are all just a bunch of crazy extremists wanting to terrorize the Western world. The heavily influenced media and products of cleverly plotted political schemes have injected so much hate and disgust against the Islamic community that when we cry for help, only but a few answer. It's true, there are some among others who have extremists views and wear the ninja suit (for example) to identify themselves as such. But one very important thing to note is that such people have adapted a story of faith
- also called "religion" - that has been modified over the years by their cultures and bred by misogynistic views of muslim men in power. Such views are NOT the true representation of what Islam is. Nonetheless, only a handful of people remain who are willing to look past this ignorant ideology and accept us as normal human beings who carry out their practices without a single train of violent thought. Therefore, it is our duty to know our faith, well enough to be able to educate others on who we are - People who also love cats.

I have much to learn and I'm going to make it my goal to know the fundamental teachings of my faith, so that when asked, I am able to represent and speak for the Islamic community accurately and in a positive light once again. I also pray that God gives me strength beyond my capability of just giving charity, to one day, help those suffering and desperately in need. Ameen"

And of course, there's also THIS. And don't worry about upsetting the Lord, Jesus was always approving of education and empowerment.

Any moron can quote scripture to support their sentiments, but it is much more difficult to live like Christ.

Peace! :)

Isn't it safe to say most aren't nearly as well informed as you?
I mean for many of us, you are the highlight of every thread.

If you thought I was ignorant, wait until you listen to this video. He's hilarious!
If possible, send him a letter and straighten him out.
I'm sure he'd enjoy hearing from you.

Does this thread all of a sudden smell funny, or did fatdaddycool just post a reply?

Hey look its the giant asshole who talks down to everyone, and pretends he is a good christian.

Does your religion teach you to look down on everyone who is not like you? Is that what Jesus tought, treat others well unless they are a different religion or color?

I hope there is a heaven just for the sole purpose of you being laughed at and sent away.

Just keep hiding behind that religion nonsense while you spew hatred towards people.

Really?!! Geert Wilders is your source of truth? Well, that in itself speaks volumes.

According to the Muslims I know (who now live in the West), there really is no "super secret plan" to take over the world. They're far too busy living their lives and getting fucked by the system just like you and I, and perhaps even moreso because of the colour of their skin. So you can probably take solace in that.

Peace! :)

I don't give a rat's ass what Jenner or tbow do in their private lives. Their actions will never have any effect on me.

And I don't give a rat's ass whether someone worships Jesus, Allah, Odin, Thor or Satan, just so long as their beliefs are theirs, and they don't try to use force, legalistic or warlike, to force their superstitions on me.

There's a Christian quote: "Do onto others......"

I'd rather say: "Don't fuck with me and I won't fuck with you."
