You surprise me Buddy--most spiritual folks are optomist--however believe your political motives have poisoned you--or at least given you selective memory--never heard mention of last week market report from you--

Feb. 2 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks rose the most in five years after the Federal Reserve's second interest rate cut in nine days boosted banks, homebuilders and retailers

Dogs,

Most spiritual folk who read their bible may beg to differ with your optimism.

And politics? Spare me. Politicians are blasphemers and they hate Christ. 2Tim - 3:13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Remember a day or two after 9-11 when all the politicians were standing on the steps of the White House each with a little American flag and singing "God Bless America"? How touching. It's funny. I never once heard mention of the name of Jesus. You can talk about God 'till you're blue in the face, but once you proclaim the name of Jesus, it becomes far more exclusive.

And btw, I'm really not a Badluck Schleprock.

Just a realist who holds no hope for this world.

My hope is in a risen Saviour.

Blessed be the name of Jesus.

Dogs, you always harp about people not being "optimistic" or dwelling too much on negatives, but then you always turn around to post a list of "most miserable cities" or bring up the % of a certain race that's in prison or gets welfare.

Don't you find this a bit hypocritical?

Buddy I will give you God, Jesus, even Mary. If you have got the pull I don't seem to have. We need to get this economy and market going up. We have so many people that need the help. Would be nice if we could just get above where we were in 2000 and stay there. We need a person like Clinton. I know he did bad things. But one thing he did right was Jobs. We had a nice run last week true enough. But were way behind in truth.

I'm optomistic on things that pertain to me and life in general--the fact you mentionioned-that war on poverty is impossible to win when large portion and getting larger has no values with illegitamcy rates above 70%--has no bearing on me or my outlook on life.

--back to initial topic--
The market will always have ups and down--the key is to never let emotions get too high or too low and remember money can be made in both directions.
--this thread is perfect example of political selective memory--Hellen Keller could see it's intent--as with Spy -when 5 soilders die he there--when 5 people in mall get capped where is he.

I'll be equally optomistic regardless of who wins in 08. As you can see from primaries your sides driving factor on who's elected is minorities--and will be same in National election--I told you there would good possibilty we'd have basically one party within a decade-- i am optomistic that plans I've made will not only succeed but thrive in exploiting your redistribution efforts--with taxpayers like you forced to foot the bills. :)

I can get liberal proof--even if you find way to start taxing -tax free accounts- or triple property tax to fund public housing. ;)

Your coming gas tax taxes are bout only thing one can't get around--but can find ways to offset increases--as previously discussed.
