Actually they played 3 times with Spurs taking the season series 2-1.The Spurs didnt have Ginobli in any of those 3 games I like the Spurs to take the series.

I forgot about the first game at the beginning of the season

Playoffs are a completely different beast. How teams this good and this late in the playoffs did against each other during the season is completely irrelevant. Playoffs are completely 100% all about matchups.

I'll always go with the team who has the best player on the court.

I agree that playoffs are a little different, but I was pointing out the clear advantages the Spurs have that you left out, not to mention a flaw in your Thunder inside domination argument. Another clear advantage the Spurs have over the Thunder is at coach. Hard to argue that Pop isn't the best in the game.

While I will say it's somewhat about one on one matchups it's more about how these teams play the pick and roll. SA is a great pick and roll defensive team while OKC isn't near as good and if it involves Perkins then they're just bad. That's why Parker does well against them and why he'll do well in this series.

Spurs in 6

They're the #1 overall seed, they're supposed to hold home court(while they stole game 1). Adjustments will be made, OKC will win both games in OKC, then the series TRULY begins!

You? LOL...I'm not an OKC fan, just a basketball fan in general. The spurs were lucky to win game 1. Now that they're up 2-0, everyone forgets everything thats happened and the Spurs sweep!

Series will be noted up 2-2 then we see what happens.

I like OKC too Mully.

Who the hell is going to guard Durant? I think that's the big factor here. OKC can shut down SA inside game.

So for me, it comes down to this....

Who stops Durant, and who wins the PG battle? That'll decide the series...
I just figured your on OKL city after this post initially. I think Spurs might sweep them if they win tomorrow.

How were they lucky to win game 1? They were down at home and came back but it wasn't that big of a deal and didn't require a last second shot or anything. They came back and took the lead before the half way point in the 4th and were up by 10 with just under 2 minutes to go.

first team to pacnic usually loses....that's going to be okc

tnt guys nailed it.....perkins is useless in this series and he gets carved up on pick-roll by spurs....plus him and ibaka out there together and okc offense cant keep up with sa

like that spurs won a loseable game in game 1, made their adjutments in game 2 and rolled.

okc made a few in game adjustments in game 2 (going small, fouling splitter) and sa was stagnant for about 8 mins then figured it out and re-rolled

only adjustment left is for okc to eliminate perkins from rotation, start ibaka at 5, durant at 4 and get harden in the game with sefalosha......problem is, they already did this late in game 2 and spurs know it's coming and have it figured out.

still sticking with spurs in 5 but wouldnt be surprised if this ends in 4.

Only the Spurs can make adjustments. They're the only team who can fix their problems. God, why does OKC even show up?

sa adjustments are related to the way they play (tempo, limit turnovers, push tempo)

okc adjustments have to be personnel changes.......they tried it and still lost.....they can go to a more exclusive small lineup, it wont help much in the long run.....they basically need to get hot and stay hot for 4 straight games

OKC in 6. Spurs just can't keep up with the Thunder. Even if the Spurs somehow managed to rob the Thunder in OKC, Thunder close 'em out in 7. Too fast, too athletic, too young, too deep, too good. Just a better team.

I'm just happy they didn't get swept!
