Monmouth +6 over Marist ****
Mon has won 2 in a row and just lost in OT to Rider.Foxes are amazing. Lost 9 in a row...then went 5-0 and we all got excited...but that was short lived..have lost 5 of last 6...Hart and Lewis can score but they have trouble every where else...getting stops on defense is there biggest problem...think Monmouth can keep this close on the rd.
Canisius +2 over Quinn **
Quinn is one game behind Can and Iona in the conf...Quinn is coming off a big Manhattan win...they lead the nation in off-def rebounding. Azotom has been a monster inside...but Griffs still have the best player in the MAAC in Baron...and it does have Heath and Manhertz on the bds...Quinn just pounds the ball inside..but they play no pressure defense and are last in the conf in creating turn overs....think Baron has a big game...
Siena -7 over Niagara **
Both teams can't gd anybody...no defense...but Purple are last in the country giving up 84 pts a game yet have the No 1 scorer in the Country in Mason...Saints can score and play some defense esp at home.
Ark St -4 over UL Monroe ****
Monroe got beat up bad by Tex St last week...Ark has Van Slyke who UL won't be able to stop...Johnson,Reed,etc ...UL's Olatapo is a ? mark for tonite...with or without him Ark wins.
UTA +7 over WKU **
Both teams playing well...Dowell is the best player in the conf coming off the bench. Edwards does a nice job on the bds...they just beat So bama on the rd..WKU has some scorers...Mavs need to play better defense and this game will be close...or just give the ball to Dowell and everyone get out of the way..
Prov +5.5 over Marquette ***
Marq tough team,solid defense,at home,etc but Prov is getting very little respect...they beat Creighton,have 3 solid players in Cotton,Batts and Henton....Cooley did a great job with Fairfield as a coach....it was just a matter of time before he starts to put the Friars on the map.
