Ray, what do you think of the Niners winning 4 in a row? My money is on them once again. St Louis is struggling with the OL being so beat up. This is a medium play to me as Antonio Bryant got himself arrested yesterday for DUI and Arnaz Battle had surgery on his hand yesterday. However, both are scheduled to play on Sunday. The line right now is SF +5.5. Scary hook or not?

Not buying into the "Dallas lets down off beating the
undefeated Colts" theory. That was a non-conference
game. This is a home game in the NFC, very possibly
something they can use in the event of a tie-breaker
with the Giants, who they play next week. Is there a
look-ahead to the Giants involved? No way. They have
10 days for that one, after this.

Tampa Bay starting QB Bruce Gradkowski has the
shortest Yards Per Pass Attempt in the NFL. It is 5.2.
Pretty weak. Dallas gets 80% of Tampa Bay's Yards Per
Pass Attempt every time the Cowboys run the ball on
offense. Over the course of 60-65 plays, that works
out to many more first downs for Dallas (they average
21, second-highest in the NFL) and many three-and-
outs for Tampa Bay (they average 14 first downs, tied
for fewest with Buffalo and Oakland).

On top of it all, Tampa Bay travels off a short week
and a "Playoff Revenge" home win vs. Washington. If
anybody is letting down here, it's the Bucs!

Seven different running backs have exceeded 100 yards against
the Rams this season. Their own offensive line is very banged-up.
When veteran tackle Orlando Pace missed his first game last week,
they got shut out and their quarterback was sacked eight times.

This is not the kind of situation that normally would improve overnight,
or even in a week.
