The hourly forecast said heavy rain would kick in around 7 pm (local). Rain definitely affects the passing game; a wet ball is slippery; harder to throw and to catch.

I'm sitting here with the window open and listening to the rain, 63 degrees, wind 8mph from Southwest. It very gradually continues to rain harder, I can hear it. The heavy stuff should come through here about an hour to a half hour before it hits Louisville so I'll just sit here and wait.

I am so glad that it has cooled off. This has been the hottest summer I ever recall in Kentucky and that covers 50 years.

Well, the rain is about the same, very steady, but no high winds yet. I heard a little thunder a few minutes ago.
