The Cardinals are the favorites here, and are the four seed playing the one seed Huskies from Washington. Is there something fishy here? The Cardinals featured a very solid outside attack, led by Francisco Garcia, their leading scorer. Washington has Nate Robinson, a super player himself, but his supporting crew is not as talented as Louisville's.

Oklahoma State is probably the deepest team in the tourney, with the Graham duo of Stevie and Joey, the latter an All-American, Ivan McFarlin, John Lucas and the super freshman JameSon Curry. Curry is really what makes this team flow, on the outside with his shooting and his passing ability that makes him one of the up and coming stars. Arizona is a streaky team with shooters in Adams, Shakur and Stoudamire. The latter of the three may be the best in the country at raining down the shots, but it will be the depth and the experience of the Cowboys that propels them to the next round.

Ray,

I thought the same way but noticed that #1 seeds are 12-1 in this round since 2001, but UW isn't your typical one seed either. I love the talent of this Louisville team but question the consistency. Good luck on this one, I was going to play it but think I will sit this game out.

I really like Okie State as well, I'm already on that train.

Best of luck in this round.

Agree with you there HoopsGuru about these teams being equal. In fact, scores and odds has a the power rating estimate as Louisville -5, where the line opened at -1.5.

According to Billy Blastoff's and others I know that use the reverse system (to warn, doesn't work as good in the post season) would be on Washington. In other words, BB's post would be:

Washington +1.5 should be +5

Other games:

Oklahoma St. -1 should be +4

close:
Illinois -10.5 should be -8.

Ray, after watching most of UW's games this year I'm not sure Nate is the UWs best player ... Bobby Jones, Brandon Roy, Tre Simmons have all played as well or better most all year ... the UWs depth is vast. Jamal Williams, Will Conroy are solid as cliffs, and even Mike Jensen played well vs Pacific--Louisville better have Crum's ole boys playing tonight, and maybe they will.

Ray.........scratching my head on Oklahoma State being the deepest team in the tourney.......they barely go 7 deep......thats why they get into trouble when Joey Graham gets into foul trouble. Washington and UNC go nine deep.......

Ray my friend, you are dead wrong with the statement above. . . no way in hell OSU is the deepest team in the tourney much less against their competition tonight.

GL just the same
