The Windy City
Overall 90-89, +1033

Capped most of these day games already, but have to run off to work for a few hours, might not be back in time. So here they are.......

Like Pitt at +110 to avoid the sweep, but the Dodger fan in me won't let me, so I'm laying off. Here here are some stats for you to chew on......Nomo is 5-4 5.26 in day games, and 11-15 4.58 on the road the last 2+ seasons, and his career day era is 1.19 higher than the night games, with a career road ERA .97 higher than home ERA at 4.54.

A's+130x2 (Mussina/Zito)
Mussina is 0-2, ERA of 6.27 in his last 3 vs the A?s and has a record of 13-14, ERA of 3.80 on the road the last 2 yrs. Showed some vulnerability vs the Jays. A's leads the MLB with nearly 18 pitches seen per inning. They will make Moose throw an exceptional game to take the sweep.

Giants-110x2 (Livan/Lieber)
A day game should have Bonds and Sanders back vs Lieber making 1st start since his injury. Cubbies scored enough runs for a week last nite.

Phi/SD Under9x2 (Padilla/Jones)
Only 1 game went Over when these 2 starts this season. Jones has regained his command of his pitches. Like the Cubbies, SD score enough runs to last them the rest of the week. Plate ump Hohn is 2-0 UNDER this year.

Drays+115x2 (Sturtz/Lohse)
Under9.5x2 (Listed)
Sturtze has a great career number (2-0, ERA 1.69) vs Twinkies who will be without Ortiz and Rivas. Lohse is an obscene 2-6, 7.47ERA on the road in his career. He had a great game last start, but I don't think he can string 2 together.

Bos/O's Under8x2 (Pedro/Maduro)
Pedro a Orioles killer, but at -250 is just not worth it. Pitched earlier in the year giving up 3 hits and 0ER in 6 innings. Boston typically sleepwalk through Pedro's starts and not giving him much run support.

GOOD LUCK TODAY!!!

good luck today,

I am going to do something that might kick me in the ass later if I lose but oh well, life is all about risks so...

I am playing BOS huge today for 3 reasons..
1. there is no way in HELL BOS should lose 3 straight to BAL
(REBOUND FACTOR)
2. Pedro is pitching and after seeing him pitch last week I think it is fair to say he is back
3. Bos avoids the sweep

GOOD LUCK on your big play, TTM. Fletch and Ray play big chalks and make a killing, so it can be done. Just have to pick your spot, I'm just not convinced that Pedro's 100%, although he may not need to be vs the pathetic O's.

Wish the Cubbie total was out before I left, 10.5 is mighty tastey.
