After two great days, my umps went 3-6 yesterday but I wound up only playing one little par with Fla and Sea so didn't get hurt much. Some of these look pretty good but still working on them. Phil, Pit (look hard at John Hirshbeck before you play Cinn. In addition to what I posted in someone else's thread, Cinn has lost 5 in a row with Hirshbeck), Mil, Colo (Ray, I hope you are right but this game calls for the dog and Neagle is 5-0 with Reliford), Tx and under.
Do your homework and then if one of these umps are going with you that's a plus.
Someone asked about money management. Money management is the difference between winning and losing in all forms of gambling. There are games in Vegas that money management can actually change the odds on the game. Here's a system in baseball that I don't believe you can lose at if you have the will power to stick to it. Start with 50 units. Play two or three teams per day. If you think there are more, then play what you think are the three best. If there's only one then pass. Don't play anything just to have a play unless you are up pretty good. Straight bet everything under -160 and par them. All for 1 unit If your best play is over -160, put it in the par but don't straight bet it. When you get 25 units up then double your unit size. When you get ahead, it is extremly hard to lose it back playing this way. Remember this, there is absolutly no value in a loser so try to pick winners regardless of the line. There is also no value in any fav over -210 in a par of less than 4. If you have a solid 3 teamer that big fav only doubles your winnings but can cost you the whole thing, Now if I am winning pretty good I might take my original 3 and make another par with the fav for 1 unit. One more thing worth mentioning, if you hit a cold streak, don't be ashamed to coatail someone that's hot. If you are on an ego trip you are in the wrong game.
