little late but just a note to say mil under also a play by my parameters, with hp ump vanover averaging 7.07 rpg in all nl games called. for tonight, like sf/ sd over with hp ump montague 10-5 to the over, 11.53 rpg in games with righty starters, and det/nyy under, with hp ump barksdale 4-8 to the under, 7.75 rpg in games with righty starters. g/l tonight.

Loophole, I hope you see this. Barksdales last 16 games the over is 8-7-1. I have another way of tracking what an ump is supposed to do. In the last 16 games it is 12-3-1 calling for the over tonight. Another angle that is very strong also calls for the over tonight. NYY over will be one of my plays tonight.

robbo, thanks for the thoughts. have been preoccupied with a numbing array of personal issues that have descended in a wave - major surgery to fix old college sports injury that old age caught up with; mother passed away after long illness (and i'm only surviving kin; split with wife(who was also my office manager). needless to say, the time i have to devote to my hobbies has been severely limited. i'm trying to do some posting in ncaa football, which i consider (with varying credibility) to be my stronger sport. still playing some baseball totals but just no time to do consistent writeups and recordkeeping. thought i'd throw out some thoughts here and there in gsp's threads (with his leave) since we have similiar approaches.

What do you think of the ump tonight in ATL (Tim Welke). Seems to be a big homer, but last time Maddux faced him was in 2001 (at home) and the Braves lost 9-1. :shrug:
