Since we have very few games tonight and I have a little time on my hands I thought I'd make a couple comments about tonight's games. But first, last night NJ redeemed me a little bit. I was one day pre-mature on my write-up.

When Hou hired Van Gundy I said they didn't help themselves and so far he's proved me right. The only smart thing I've seen him do is bench Howard. But the problems are deeper than coaching. They have no go to guy and no leader. To prove my point look at how Francis, Mobley, and Cato are doing playing with Grant Hill. Remember how great McGrady looked when Hill was healthy. Grant Hill is a leader and every team needs one. I said at the start of the season that Hou couldn't win with the point guards they had. I like Bob Sura's game but if they try to make him a eastern conference type it won't work. I do believe we will see an improvement with him at point but only if they let him run. Jackson seems to be the only starter playing up to par and if you have been around long enough to remember him at Dallas then you know what he can do. I get the feeling the players don't like playing 1980's eastern conference ball. If Van Gundy will let them open it up a little more and someone steps to the front as a leader we might see a difference. It might even start tonight.

A quick comment on the Denver game. If Den is smart they will push Cle. The wide open game Cle had at Phoe last night should really take it's toll in the fourth tonight. The sad part of this story is that Den has just now started playing really good d. They might come out running and turn the d up in the 3rd if needed.

I show the line in Dallas tonight being between 5-7. It's currently on 6. At 4, all Den is giving up is home court. Here's something I find odd. I cap the game at 95-94 Den. Meija has it at 115-114. How in the hell with that big a difference in scores can we both show a 1 point game. I don't think either of us put the fatigue factor in. I know I didn't.

If nothing changes I will be looking at the over in both games but as you know I'll wait until closer to game-time. Good luck to us tonight

Cleve. Ohio
gsp I agree with you on the Den over. I think Den will push Cle to run. If they are smart. The only side I like is Hous. Good luck.

'This is going to be one of those nights. I'll be 100% right or wrong. Not much in between. Going with

Dal o 183'
Den - 4'
Den o 186

Money going toward Cle and line going up on Den. I must missing something.

Good luck everyone

It would normally be 92. Looks like they are looking for the over. Just like being 5' high on the Sea total in the sec half of the game last night.

Looked like Den was the one that played at Phoe night before last. They must have partied the three days they had off.
