Thurs games

Started the season a very un-impressive 1-2 on a night when it seemed everyone went something and 0. I really don't like playing the NBA for the first 7 to 10 days but there are three that look pretty good tonight.

If last night wasn't a fluke then Port is going to be a contender this year. The thing that really bothers me about this game is the line is way out of whack based on the play of both teams so far. Bibby and Christi are still out and what I saw in Sac's pre-season game with LA and again against Cle was that they can't sustain consistant scoring. They absolutely hate playing d but when they want to, they are a pretty good defensive team. Either way, d or no d, I'm going to take Port and the points and hope that I'm not running into a trap. Here's the way I'm going

Wash u 185' (if the threes are falling, I'm dead in the water)

Atl o 184 (I feel pretty good about this one, Utah can't be as bad as they looked last night)

Port +6 (see above)

I really look for both teams to play good d, at least in the second qt. One low scoring qt and the game goes under. But I think I will only go with the three listed above.

I'll post this before anymore time passes. I smell trap all over the Port/Sac game. I'm going to wait until gametime to make this a play. This line is showing 7s some places and I don't want Las Vegas helping me, especially when the line is already screwed up to start with.

sac like la is square team - ithink we are on the right side-and think like la last year alot of sac lines will be inflated.

GSP, that thought crossed my mind too. But I think its just a matter, like THUNDER said, of SAC being inflated and the fact they have owned PORT at home. It's a public team. I think Prtland has a 50-50 shot at winning that game.
