Got one that I am sure will be a play and a couple of leans. First of all the play will be Wash over. This game caps as a solid over even without Stackhouse. Of course it would be nice to have his points. I have another solid reason to play the over, which I won't go into and now Vegas has raised the line to 187 which hasn't hurt my feelings at all. If Stackhouse was playing I would also be all over Wash but not sure at this moment.

Believe it or not, Sea should be the play tonight but how can I put money on Sea? The only teams they have beat since Dec 11 are Den, Tor and Cle. Both Den and Cle have beat them since. So why wouldn't I play Utah? First of all, Sea is not as bad as they are playing and it's not a lack of talent. This is the same talent that started off 8-2. It's a lack of being mentally focused and on any given night they are subject to snap out of it. Payton is the leader on this team and how much will his ego put up with. After all , his trade stock is going down with every loss. His job as point guard and team leader is to get everybody on the same page and make the other players better. It hasn't been happening and that reflects against his talent. Now tonight they are playing Utah who should be ripe for the picking. Utah struggeled with Den last night (the game was closer than the score indicated) and it wasn't the altitude. Utah is up pretty high themselves and the altitude shouldn't have been a problem. Over the years I've noticed that teams playing bb coming out of Den don't fare too well. I am looking for Sea to play slow-down control basketball tonight with total control in Payton's hands. If I am right, the game should be low scoring with Sea in it till the end and maybe even get the su win. Oh, by-the-way, the line just happens to be a couple of points high too.

good luck, G!!!

if you will....i've got a quick question for you....i've seen you mention a few times that you don't like it at all when vegas helps you....do you find this to be a negative/losing proposition in the long run....i am of the opposite belief as almost every time i go against vegas....i just flat out get killed....and conversely....do much better when with the house....i respect your expertise and handicapping skills immensely and would very much appreciate any feedback on this!!!

thanks a bunch!!!

Well, after watching that Wash line run all over everywhere, Ive decided to pass on the side in that game. Without Stackhouse the line @ -1' is still way off and if I was going to bet it, I would go with Wash. There's always another game. Going with

Wash o 187'
Sea + 6'
u 186

Good luck everyone

CB, when I say I don't want Vegas helping me, I mean, if I am giving points or getting points, I would rather see the line go against me a little than helping me a little. A one point line movement during the day in my fav gets me very nervous.

CB, I like to wait until the last minute before placing my bet. What my local does don't bother me. I'm looking at Vegas lines all day. If I like the play my local can add or subtract a point. I'm only refering to what is happening on a national level.
