Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I'm doing this overnight, before some newspapers have all the stories posted, so should be some updates and new info--be sure to post any below!

<b>Montreal</b>---Theodore to start, with his new found confidence sez piece here.......http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/canadiens/news/story.html?f=/news/20021218/021218News319112.html
last 5 meetings all went under. NYR under is 12-6 at home

<b>New York Rangers</b>---Dunham sez story here.......http://www.nypost.com/sports/rangers/27385.htm

<b>Calgary</b>---Turek? He's getting a lot of work. gonna see back up soon.....Calg off a win, haven't put two in a row together since Nov 4 and 5.

<b>Columbus</b>---Denis? He's starting nearly all games, but at Chicago tomorrow....

<b>Toronto</b>---Belfour, Kidd got last. ....Eddie has given up only 16 goals in last 12 starts......Leafs haven't won on road since Nov 29.....They beat TB twice this season, at home with TB giving up leads late in game.

<b>Tampa Bay</b>---Khabib? He played last night, and TB has 4 games in 6 days. Could see Hodson.......paper sez "Maple Leafs have a record of 14-2 at Tampa Bay, 11-1 in last 12. ... Lightning are 0-3-1-1 in the second of back-to-back games"

<b>San Jose</b>----Nobokov I expect.

<b>Ottawa</b>---Prusek say papers. he's 4-0 this season (won at Buff and NYI, and home vs NYI and Columbus). over is 4-0 in his starts this season, mainly due to Ott offense.

<b>New Jersey</b>----Schwab? ? Brodeur played last night, and team has 3 games in 3 and a half days.

<b>Pittsburg</b>---Aubin I expect, seem to be alternating starts.

<b>New York Islanders</b>---Di Pietro, very hot in the minors, gets first NHL start tonight in a long while sez piece here.........http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/islanders/news/story.html?f=/news/20021218/021218News3204912.html

<b>Minnesota</b>---Roloson it looks like. papers say coach still alternating goalies to even playing time. Rolo is unbeaten in last 8 starts, and is 3-0-1 vs NYI, 2.21 gga, .927 pct.

<b>Vancouver</b>---Cloutier I assume, but he's gotta play 4 games in 7 days and this is good spot to use Skudra (who is 2-0 vs Nash with 1.46 gga)

<b>Nashville</b>---Vokoun, who else?.....This team beats Det, SJ, Dallas, LA and gets wiped out by Calgary after dominating MN. Coach put them thru had practice other day.

<b>Dallas</b>---Turco.

<b>Detroit</b>---Joseph. These teams and goalies met home and away already this season and both ended in 3-3 ties.

<b>Boston</b>--Grahame, must be. Shields played last night....Boston beat WA 7-2 on road this season (Biller, Charpy and Thomas in goals).....home team is 6-3-1 last 10 meetings.

<b>Washington</b>--Kolzig I assume.

<b>Edmonton</b>---Salo.

<b>Colorado</b>---Roy. Got new coach, but Edmn off dissapointing loss and gunning to win....Colo and Roy 0-2 this season vs Edmn/Salo, and one went way under, one way over...

<b>Anaheim</b>---Giguere to start back to back? My guess is so...

<b>Los Angeles</b>---Potvin I assume.

good luck everyone and post updates/corrections below!

Thanks for the hard work, TerryRay. Good luck to ya tonite!

Giggy was on Monday Nite Live from ESPNZone in SoCal and said that he would start vs the Kings. But I don't think anyone expected him to face 47 shots from the Blues. Still no definite words on whether Giggy or Gerber will go.

On the Kings side, Potvin is 14-3-6 vs the Ducks Lifetime and 2-1-1 as a King. With only 2 points separating these 2 teams, my guess is that Potvin will go.

Deadmarsh is a NO GO, however. He's getting a head MRI today because he's been having equilibrium problems similar to his last concussion.

Kings send back Aulin to the minors and recalled enforcer Kip Brennan. Looks like Murray will be trying to beat up the Ducks tonite, after the Blues lost their shit last nite and started pouncing on everyone vs the Ducks. Ducks will be without their only tough guy Sawyer as his wife is in labor.

Denis will be in net tonight for the CBJ. Also, he will probably be in net tomorrow in Chicago as well. The club has sent JF Labbe down to Syracuse for conditioning and called up 2001 first round draft pick Pascal Leclaire, who is not ready for the NHL yet.
