Pay back time for the Hawks to avenge the 2-4 loss in StL on 1/18 when they were playing 5th game in 7days with Leighton in goal. Hawks lost the following game (6th in 9days) in Columbus that was basically over by the end of 1st period (3-0). The Blues pounded them all game knowing that the Hawks would not be able to physically match up with them. Now the roles have reversed, StL is playing 3rd in 4, 4th in 6days, got pounded by the Trashers, and playing a hungry Hawks team. StL is 2-6 this year in 3/4 situations. And not that Thibault needs the rest, he was yanked by Sutter after the 1st period in the CBJ game.

Hesitant to go against the Sens who surely will have a better effort in this game, but Trash is hot offensively. Prusek will be in goal?? Also revenge game for Atl for the 8-1 pounding in Ottawa. Also my favorite angle in going against a road team playing B2B on the road in 3/4 spot. This has been a long stretch of games for the Sens the last 4 weeks, maybe they're actually running out of gas?? HORNS??

Everything you said about the Sens is very correct. Prusek is in nets and due for a loss. Sens are in a tough stretch of games right now. The players have stated they want to get through Jan. and they feel after that the schedule favours them. ATL will look revenge but the Sens seem to get it done even on the crappy nights. ATL lacks D in a big way and that is what scares me with them. Sens capitalize BIG time on other teams mistakes, more than most teams as alot of opposing players state that whenever playing Ott. Will give more info tomorrow afternoon. GL

No more plays overnite. Vegas sucked all the value out of the Nash line, even though Nash has covered L4 vs NYR and is red hot right now. Like the Bruins tomorrow, but there's no line, and I'd like to wait for mugs' thread on Bruins' info tomorrow.

The Hawks look really solid to me, though.:shrug:

1st time in 7 games that CBJ didn't allow 29 SOG's or more last nite, and the game still went over5.5. Dallas played a very defensive game last nite to protect Tugger and it worked. I'm expecting a much more fast paced game tonite between these 2. Avs in last 6 games have had 35, 38, 33, 33, 39, 33 SOG's BJ's will be playing 3rd in 4, 4th in 6days. This season when they're in 3/4 spots, the games total ended 5, 7, 6, 6, 7, 7, 6, 9, 13.

Boiler, you BASTARD!! LMAO @ the 4 B's. The Boilers need to play better on the road, though. I've watched 2 road games this year, and both were very ugly. At home I think they can play with anyone in the Big10. Keady's won the Big10 with less talent, like in '98. Really like the addition of Booker, and Bouscher kinda reminds me of Cardinal.
