really no opinion on the Leafs/Lightning-

Look into the B's / Wings tonight- Will get at least a split on these- the ?? of the day which is the better play???? I know what your thinking..... How could I back the Wings the way Cujo is playing??? Well, his back is against the wall and if he does not play well tonight he WILL be demoted to their #2. He will get it done tonight - Remember no Sakic for the Lanche and Morris is still out on D- And Patty has not been himself all year- The crowd at the "Joe" will eat him alive tonight- Remember the game 7 last year 4-0 is the frigging 1st period- What can I say besides- The best team in league (when they want to be) will come to play tonight.

If the Flames dont win tonight- double secret probation for them

As far as the Tor/TB game, if I could create different categories in the BITCH angle, TB would definitely fit in the MOFUGLY BITCH category. Tor has won their L7 vs TB, and as you said 15-2-2 in TB. I might be just throwing money away, but I really do think TB can reverse that trend tonite. Looking at the 3 games they played this season......

11/5 @ Tor -- TB was up 3-2 in the 3rd, ended up losing 4-3, but outshooting Tor 37-32. Khabi gave up a bad goal off his glove on a slapper by Mogilny.

12-3 @ Tor -- TB was up again 3-2 in the 3rd, but playing their 4th game in 7 nights, 3 of them on the road with a home game sandwiched in between. Fatigue was an obvious factor as TB lost in OT 4-3, with Tor outshooting TB 38-17 in the 2nd, 3rd period and OT.

12-19 @ TB -- I remember this one well, as I lost a big play on TB as TB outplayed Tor and outshot them 30-19 but Hodson gave up 2 soft goals, and Belfour was standing on his head the whole game and beat TB 2-1.

TB has a good home record at 14-7-3-2, beating some quality opponents. This line also makes me feel like Vegas is trying suck in Tor money with Tor winning big last nite, and TB losing big 2 nites ago. This is TB's last chance to get the monkey off their backs this yr, and as good a spot as any to get the "W", especially with Kidd in goal in place of the Eagle.

We'll see if I'm full of ca-ca or not in a few hours, I guess

I like your thinking ddubs and also if I might add something regarding the "bitch angle", most of these Leafs wins came when Tampa Bay was a laughing stock in the league. Tampa Bay is far better and more matured team then they were. I don't really attach great value to past records. Unless you were called the Hartford Whalers and playing against the Montreal Canadiens... did they have their number or what in those days!

I read that Kovalev, Straka and Caron are all suffering from the flu and are questionable for tonight's game.

I was gonna play Pittsburgh, but I'm going to back off now....

Thanks, Dave. I read that this morning, too. Kehoe said if Caron's not playing, Hedberg might end up being the starter, since Aubin hurt his hand in practice. So that may not be a bad thing. I thought the line should be higher than that, so Vegas probably factored in the flu news in the line. Hopefully Straka and Kovalev will play, they don't sound too bad. If I were Mario, I'd get on their ass and tell them to suit up.

I live in chicago here and they were talking about the blackhawks. word is Sutter gave them a ass chewing last night. what that means, i dont know, but could fire them up. But i dont see that happining now. It might be a close game, but I dont see them winning this one either. Being a Hawks fan, it would be nice for a win on the road, but if you guys win thats cool by me too.
