at Riviera Casino other day saw my first automated sportsbetting kiosk. It has a screen you touch thru a sequence similar to placing bet online. Put in cash and out spits your ticket! very easy. would fit anywhere they can put an ATM. Might see these all over LV---at 7-11, Albertson's, car wash, yer local bar, etc.
under 8.5 Pitt/FL -118
over 9.5 STL/Cubs +104
under 8 Mets/Phila -101
over 9 Cle/Det -116
NYY -1.5 +107
Neither Tomko or Estes usually go deep. Estes not in good form of late (tho he's unpredictable enuf this does't mean much) and Tomko not good on road of late. but I decided to take this over when I read Strauss' piece in today's Post-Dispatch, an excerpt:
"All the innings caught up with our bullpen," manager Tony La Russa said. "We played a doubleheader that was like a tripleheader because of Monday. It caught up to us."
Baker said: "Their bullpen was just as bad, just as tired as mine. I didn't want to go to mine and he didn't want to go to his. It was going to boil down to who was going to have to go to the bullpen first."
STL over has hit 21-9 this season against left handed pitchers. Tomko over has hit 12-2 on road this season.
Expecting Glavine to bounce back against a foe (not namned ATL) he lost to last week, and Wolf pitching with his new found agressiveness to keep this game under.
Cleve's Westbrook couldn't get his sinker going in last start. Start before that he battled thru 5 innings. His two starts against Detroit this season weren't quality. Both teams hitting well now. Detroit's Knotts only goes deep when he's locked in a pitcher's duel with Loaiza, Colon, Nomo, Hudson and such---and Westy ain't in that company! and this Detroit pen is pretty wasted now (and Cleve pen not so good of late either).
I think Yanks suck it in and avoid a sweep (tho only team to sweep a series from them this season was Toro!). and think Contreras should bounce back from his only bad start in majors. Hoping Lidle his usual self against Yanks and we do get Wolf at home plate (very bad news for home dogs.) Yanks 13-4 SU this season when road favorite -125 to -150.
1-2 <a href="http://www.madjacksports.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=107649"> last posting</a> , -1.00 units.
that takes it to +10.36 for the season (227-205-3).
all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
no chalk over -160
for fun parlay pics: 1-20 (-18.79) 1 unit risk for grading purposes, but I put a lot less on them in reality!
any comments?
