over 5.5 WA/Bost +100 (olympic)
under 4.5 MTL/Calg +107
MTL +118
parlay: Ott -1/2 and Vanc -1/2 (1 unit wins 1.26)
won my two way last night, and went 1-2 in SU pics---making it a +0.03 unit day! Ha!
thinking Garon may get start tonight for MTL as they will want fresh Theodore for playing outside Sat. anyway, shouldn't matter. These teams both low scoring but Calg should start Kipper in net article here sez---he could show up nice for new team as happens a lot. So my under bet is sort of hedge against that if he blanks MTL..............http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam031120/nhl_cal1-sun.html
and covers sez:
The under is 5-2-1 in MON's last eight road games.
The under is 6-0-2 in CAL's last eight home games.
The under is 7-3 in MON's last 10 overall.
The under is 6-0-2 in CAL's last eight game as the favorite.
The under is 5-2-1 in MON's last eight games as the dog.
and Calg is 0-4 this season off upset win a dog (12-31 last 3 years)
Horns has good stuff in his thread on Ott. Plus, I noticed Ottawa had one of those players-only meetings. teams are 3-0 this season in next game after these. (That big Pitt dog win +247 at Buffalo was the best!). Over should hit with determined Ott team, but Weekes been hot, so staying off it.
besides usual reasons for Vanc tonight vs depleted Chi squad, the AP writeup sez they are 1-9-4 last two years in these lengthy Nov road trips.
looking at that MN dog with thier excellent play in non-conference games (7-0 this season) and last season vs Phila--blanking them twice. but phila at home....
and just couldn't pull trigger on Columb, even after I wrote that stuff on them yesterday and Det's 1-6 ats record as road fave--but the way Det is playing and not getting great line with Columb...
1-2 last night -1.00 unit....that takes it to -10.60 for the season (16-26-3). Uggh! working on that...
all flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).
except one winning 2 unit pic (-102)
no chalk over -170
parlay pics: 2-3, -0.37
any comments?
good luck to all!
