Yeah. I dont get the logic either. If FL just handled the 2nd best 2nd half team in all the land would you not think that FL is crushing teams right now. FL wins this one today.
Interesting insight, First of all louisville won there tourney not the big East. Florida came out pk went to -1 right away, Florida has covered there last 4 and have looked awesome. But they also played against a couple weak teams. Florida lives and dies by the 3- against teams with size because they are small. And they sure can shoot them. the last few games they have played some small teams so there main weakness has not shown. They have not had too make 3s because they have dominated the paint against these smaller foes. This is not a good match-up for them. All of Floridas losses have been against long big teams that guard the perimiter well TENN twice,KENTUCKY twice,OSU,VANDY CUSE,. Lousville was 18th in the country guarding the 3. But over the last 12 they 3rd. They are long and big on the inside. There guards over the last 13 games have become shut-down guards. Lousville will dominate the paint on o and d. Florida will have to hit plenty of 3s today to win. Nobody in awhile has been able to do that. Florida needs to play a uptempo game to win. Lousville can play either. But Pitino 15 games made a comittment to frustrate and d up. They have been unreal against great competition. Louisville has a assistant that was under Donovan that will help in a short turn-around. Well I gave my reasoning why I like the birds. Havent heard or seen a reason to change my mind GL. thanx for your opinion
I Believe OSU will dominate the inside. This Melo being out against this team will just kill them. With craft and buford hitting the perimeter shots with the dominance of the big boys. Even with melo I like OSU they are imo the 2nd best team in the country. After getting beaten by MSU the last game of the season they have been dominate. THey do not have 1 weakness Cuse have strugled without melo they are 5-1 but they have struggled in every game. Against some average teams. OSU IS FAR FROM AVERAGE. I like taking teams that NBA talent and the best player on the court at this stage. SULLINGER fits the bill.
Some of us just can't admit when they hav gone cold. I do and that is when I take a break or fade myself. Have to believe it's FL and Cuse today.

Thunder - I like the Buckeye too, but more from the fact that I think Craft will be the difference in this game. He is one of the best on-ball defensive PG's I have ever seen. He is also emerging as a true leader. I think he might be guarding Scoop, and that will force the other players to play up and above their level.
Would also be nice for Buford to play above average in an important game. GL2Us:toast:
