Well, I wasn't able to post yesterday but continued to have some success by playing and winning Mich St., Witchita St, and THE SYSTEM PLAY NC. State (home unranked favorite over ranked visitor wake) while losing Northwestern by a basket.

My take on the Hoosiers!!!

I was very bitter about the Hoosier SU loss on Tuesday night to Illinois, BUT did get the ATS cover to extend my perfect record on IU games to 10-0 for a +34 UNITS!!!! IMO some very questionable coaching decisions, lack of execution on offense, and just plain getting taken out of their game the Hoosier's gave away the HOME victory to the Illini. Leach has got to learn to get the ball in the paint, make a move to the hoop and go up strong without putting the ball on the floor. Coach Davis has got to utilize his bench more (why did Leach sit as long as he did in the latter part of the 2nd half without being in foul trouble and why did Wilmont play only about 4 minutes-where he knocked down his first three attempt, blocked a shot, and dove and recovered a loose ball????). I really believe Davis forgets about the players on the bench, he admitted it once last year in a BIG game where he had forgotten that Jeffrey Newton was on the bench until the player finally got up and asked to go back in.....I hope this isn't the case. Either way, I was very discouraged about the loss, but happy about the ATS win.

The way I see it, the Hoosiers are going to have to win atleast 6 more of their remaining 8 regular season games in order to be considered for the NCAA Tournament or of coarse WIN the Big Ten Post Season Tournament. 6 of the final 8 seems a little tough but when you look at it a little harder its possible. 5 of those 8 will be at home vs (Iowa, Minny, Ohio St., Mich., and Wisc) while the three on the road are (Penn St., Purdue, and Northwestern.) The big problem is that even if they do win 6, (which will most likely include a second loss to Wisconsin- although it will be the final home game of the season and Senior Day) when the selection committee meets they will look at them as a bubble team and question their number of BIG WINS over Quality Opponets......which equals 0! So IMO Hoosier fans like myself will need a little luck to get invited to this years Big Dance and keep the streak alive!!!

Back later with todays plays!

Tonights:

Nevada -4 2 units
Pacific +2 2 units (bought point)
Wisc GB -4 2 units
Fairfield -1 2 units

Was leaning towards a bunch early but will go with this 4 pack. Early leans included Murray St. -9, Niagara -12, Washington +5, Denver +3, Arizona -3.

WISC GB @ CLE ST.

Wisc GB has covered ATS 6 straight and are 6-1 ATS on the road vs. Division 1 opponets. Cleveland State on the other hand is a poor 2-5 ATS at home vs. Division 1 teams and have lost 5 straight ATS and 8 of the last 10. They have also 15 straight games and are 0-10 SU in League play (losing by avg of 10.4 points per game.) Wisc-Green Bay ranks first in the Horizon League in field goal defense (40.7% FG) compared to a Cleveland State team that ranks last in defense (49.3% FG). Wisc-Green Bay is a solid 11-3 SU over their past fourteen games and has won four of their past six road games SU by at least five or more points.

FAIRFIELD @ CANSIUS

Fairfield is 6-4-1 ATS on the road vs Division 1 teams while Cansius is an eye sore 1-4-1 ATS at home vs D1 teams. Fairfield has won 4 of the last 5 ATS and has won 7 SU and 3 of the last 4 ATS in the series. They have owned Cansius and although have seemed to struggle a little more then not on the road at times.....I like them here!!!

No big ones tonight although I was close to making Wisc GB and Nevada a little bigger but will stick to the 4 pack of 2 unit plays tonight.

IMO I would stay away and just enjoy the Duke-NC game as it is sure to be a great one AS USUAL....but if I was forced to side wager wise one way or the other.....I would have to back Coach K and his kids!
