Busy as hell today, but played these before I left home this AM. Short, sweet and hopefully profitable:

OAKLAND ATHLETICS (+160) Dotel coughed it up last night, but the A's had plenty of chances in extra innings, and I think they are playing better ball than the Yankees right now. Zito's efforts lately have been a concern, as are his career numbers versus the Yanks, but this is the "second start off the DL" angle I have been watching, and think Brown may struggle today.

INDIANS / JAYS over 9.5 (-120) Don't know much about this Durbin, but it looks like he is prone to the long ball (6HR in less than 30IP), and the way the Jays are swinging the bats right now, they could take advantage of this. Also can't trust Bush, and Indians are capable of putting up a bunch any day of the week.

NEW YORK METS (+114) I liked Zambrano in Tampa Bay, and think he may go on a roll to start off in the NL, as these teams won't have seen his stuff before. Mets have also had some success in the past versus Santos, so I really like the Mets in this spot.

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (-112) Get the brooms out. Milwood's 3-1 since the break and pitching much better than earlier in the year. Phillies seem to like it in San Diego (who wouldn't?) and Hitchcock hasn't pitched at this level in quite a while.

Golf and beer after work. :)

Good Luck today,

Sharky

Like Clev over, Philly and Mets. I can't trust Zito in NY. Park ain't big enough for that line up and that dude just has his chakras mixed up, or he's breathing out of the wrong eyelid, or something. F.N.G today (fairways-n-greens). :canada1
