Astros-160x2 (Oswalt/Reitsma)
Grab this one early, as the line surely will jump close to game time. I TRY not to play favs over 150, but there's too much difference between these 2 teams, especially starting pitching. Oswalt just kills the Cinci bats (3-0, 21.1IP, 1ER, 12H, 23K, 0BB, and vs Cinci on the road 1-0, 12.2IP, 0ER, 7H, 12K, 0BB). Reitsma, on the other hand has gotten knocked around (0-3, 17.1IP, 18ER, 24H, 12K, 7BB, and at home vs Hou 0-2, 11.1IP, 14ER, 17H, 9K, 7BB). The Astros bats having been red hot, especially Berkman. Cinci has lost 3 straight, while Hou is riding a 3 game winning streak, going for the sweep on the road. Houston has taken 9 of last 10 from Cinci, including last 4 at Cinci. Houston BP has been well rested with the starters going 6, 7IP, Wagner hasn't pitched since Sunday. Love this play.

-dug a little deeper and found that pretty much the only everyday Red who had success vs Oswalt is Dunn (2-6, 1HR, 3Ks), the rest..........

Gotta give the advantage to Oswalt.

Minn/KC Under9x2 (Milton/Suppan)
The Under was looking pretty good going into the 7th last nite, until a Mienkewitz error that would have ended the inning followed by a Beltran 3-run dinger that knocked Hawkins out and opened the flood gates. Milton pitched impressively vs KC earlier this season, 7 shut-out innings. Suppan has started the season doing well, including 6, 7, 7IP allowing total of 8ER over that span. Add to the fact that the home plate Ump is Ripley who's avg 6runs/game this year. Gonna take the Under one more time.

That looks to be it for the day games, more on the nite card later today.

Had 3 tough losses the last 3 days due to the closers in Mesa, Rocker, and Wagner. But this one takes the cake. Anyways......

Yanks/O's Under9 x2 (Erickson/Wells)
Wells continues his strong comeback from the back Sx, 20.2IP, 7ER, only 6BB. 1st game vs O's gave up only 4H, 0ER in 7.1IP. Erickson is not too shabby in the early season, either. 6ER in 20IP, including 0ER in 6IP vs the same Yanks in his season debut. This one looks like another pitcher's duel.

I know how you are feeling. I had the Phillies in a 10 team parlay the other night and hit all 9 other games on the card. When the Phillies were up 6-1 I was
feeling pretty good. Little did I know Mesa was going to come in the eighth and blow the lead! I got lucky that night because I had the Phils won the last team in that parlay was the Angels the night Rocker blew that lead. That ten teamer would have paid around 6 G's What can you do! Vazquez is still one of the best pitchers in the league, and Leiter gave up 6 unearned runs in their last 9-8, 11 inning affair. Both should bounce back. Mets are a different team on the road historically, seem to play hard vs tough opps, but take crappy teams lightly. Seeing everyone on the over like the Asshole's game made me back off the over, but I do like it.

Dodgers-134 x3 (Daal/Tollberg)
Huge motivation tonite for Daal tonite to prove that he belongs to the starting rotation. Dodger bats have done pretty well despite Green hitting a major slump. SD's offense is just dismal, avg less than 3 runs per game. Tollberg off to a slow start getting torched early. He's been bothered by a weak shoulder since last 2nd 1/2 but insisted that he's ok. Sure didn't look like it early on.
