in 2002..bernero in day games had a 4.58 ERa ..1.39 whip ..and 283 BAA ...he pitched just one game vs. minny lst year and was absolutely hammered...19.06 era..2.65 whip..406 BAA..he pitched 4 innings and gave up 8 runs
at Comerica park...he pitched 5 games and was lit up...9.00 ERA...1.86 whip..and 307 BAA...
in 2002 Lohse..day numbers were 4.12 era ..1.48 whip and 238 BAA ....in 2002 lohse was 2-1 vs. detroit with a 6.23 era....he pitched 2 games at comerica a great one where he gave up just 1 run and a stinker 7-6 loss 4.3 innings pitched and 6 runs....his career at comerica is 3.65 era..1.38 whip ...283 baa
behind the plate we have Cooper...2002 he was 20-12 to the over...
im thinking detroit is going to score a few today and minny should have no problem putting up some number as well....both of these pitchers have the potential to put in a stinker here.....if its bernero and he gets hit early all the better against detroits pen..they used 4 pitchers for relief yesterday and they all pitched relatively well...but bodies have to be running thin and if they pitch on back to backs with little rest ..night game to day game all the better as thier arms may be a little wary...
