Real quick. St Louey on a hot streak, 7/8 and 12/14. They are closing fast on Atl, who is off today and can close to within one game with a win. Then they get the Cubs and Houston to finish. Hell, they're only 4? games behind the Brewers. True, Westbrook sucked last game out vs Philly, but is ready for a bounceback today. LOTS TO PLAY FOR.

Mets guaranteed themselves their 3rd losing season in a row last nite - lost game # 82. Can't be fun to be a Met.

This time of year, pitchers' arms can be really tired, especially if they have been (over)used a lot. Tony LaRussa is known for going to the same guys over and over again.

If St Louey does not make the playoffs, that horrible collapse in the 9th will go down in Cards' legend as one of the worst of all time. :facepalm:

Santana's arm looks tired right now, early in the Jays' game. He will have to start going to his breaking stuff and try to hold on.

The Jays have gone 12-0 in extra inning games this year and the Angels are 0-12.

Apparently it has never happened in baseball that a home team has been undefeated in extra innings. :shrug:


Don't blame me, I don't care and am just saying what I heard on TV. :lol:

It is now 13 walkoff wins for the BJs and 13 walkoff losses for the Angels this year. Trivia.

Thank gawd I bailed out on the Angels. They looked sick at the walkoff homerun. Rightly so.
